I just moved a bunch of PS4 games on my PS5 over to the drive. I’m actually using the USB-C plug on the front of the PS5 (external drive comes with a ISB-C cable). Moving the games was fast. And now I can play the games directly from the external hard drive. They load faster than on the internal NVMe. I imagine that’s because the external HD uses the same protocols that the PS4 games were made for and haven’t been updated to take advantage of the SSD. You cannot play PS5 games on the external drives but you can store them and move them back to your system when you want to play. It’s faster than downloading a game. Took about 4 minutes for a 70GB game to transfer.

Not disappointed

Very happy with the size and speed of this drive.

This replaced my 7yr old external 2TB WD that had an external power supply larger than the SSD itself. It is faster, more portable and has lesser cables to manage. Seek times across network is reduced significantly. Almost instantaneous playing of video files across network. Incredibly happy with my purchase. Technology has come a long way!

This solid state is perfect for someone like me that drops things often. its so light weight and I can fit it in my pocket or purse.

Perfect for data storage

Use for backing up data, great little ssd drive. When are the 4 TB capacities coming out? You guys milked the 2TB capacities long enough, give the people what they need!
