I wish I had read reviews regarding use with Mac. Mine bought on Feb 11, 2022. On April 3, 2022 I got a message that I had improperly ejected the drive. It no longer showed on my desktop. After many tries to mount the drive according to the online experts, I couldnt get it to connect. It was working fine on Mac Monterey before it just quit.

I liked my first one so much I bought another. I use a surface pro with limited hard drive space. The Samsung drive is my primary storage for photos, videos and music and it does an outstanding job. Really fast too.

I have bought a few of these and given them to my guys to use in place of traditional thumb drives.

Smaller, lighter and and faster than expected. if you plan on buying one to move around often you may want to spend the $10 and purchase a sleeve or silicone case. this is very light and small. currently using it on my xbox one x as the primary drive for games as it is significantly faster then the internal drive. i hoped it would increase load speeds by 10-15% as it’s over usb but on games like skyrim with mods that load very slow i would say no less than 25% faster and at times much faster.
