> 24 hourThere’s a time and a place for an orbital sander, but I hand sand when I can, and have always enjoyed it. Have used a variety of sanding blocks, and never gave them much thought. And then I got the Preppin’ Weapon. (This is an awesome name, btw.) I love it! I told my husband it is my favorite thing in my tool shop, and is my favorite amazon purchase EVER. The important details to me: 1) The weight. It’s substantial enough, with evenly distributed weight, that I don’t feel like I have to push it or muscle it, resulting in a much more even surface, with no unintentional deep marks. It glides. 2) Shape/size: I’m a somewhat taller than average woman, average weight, and this fits perfectly in my hands. And I think it is sized and shaped well enough to fit most hands. 3) It HOLDS the paper, with a perfect and simple clip on each end. No slipping! 4) It is already saving me sandpaper. Good sandpaper is a must, and this seemed a little pricey to me. But between saving paper and increasing the quality of my work, I’m ready to buy more so I can have several grits loaded!

> 24 hourGreat prep block. Works great with rolls of sand paper. The clamps keep the paper tight and it is easy to use. Made the job easier!

> 24 hourIts a convenient time saver over the old style rubber wet sanding block, and saves fingers from those nasty nails.

> 24 hourI love the fact that you use more of the sheet surface than with other sanding blocks. I also like the weight and it is easy to load. The only issue for me was that it is slightly less comfortable in the left hand (I am left handed). I dont know if the rods can be swapped but it would probably require replacing the pad so I wont bother. I expect I will buy a couple more as time goes on.

> 24 hourThis thing is the best. Heavy enough that you can use it without having to apply too much more pressure while using. Large enough to cover enough area so you can avoid tipping it when near the end of a stroke. Holds the paper tight and solid. Doesnt flex AT ALL. I cant really come up with any way to improve on this. Its that good. Maybe a bit pricey, but worth it. You will be passing it on to your kids, cause it wont ever wear out. Highly Recommended.

> 24 hourI especially like the way this sanding block fits my hand, the feel and comfort. This is the first sanding block that does not cause my hand to cramp with extended use. The sand paper backing plate is of a quality material they is firm yet resilient enough to allow the sand paper to contact slightly uneven surfaces. The backing plate is firm enough to help the user to avoid rounding off the edge of the work being sanded. The 1/4 sheet mechanism holds the sanding paper tight and secure to the backing plate. I would buy this sanding block again. I fully intend to buy additional blocks to hold different sand paper grits.

> 24 hourThis is the second best sandpaper holder I have. No one seems to make the exact yellow square one I used to use the most for years, decades. This is now my favorite.
