> 3 dayThis is the second best sandpaper holder I have. No one seems to make the exact yellow square one I used to use the most for years, decades. This is now my favorite.

> 3 daySaw this block in a video somewhere and got curious. Did a little looking around online and found a whole lot of positive reviews so I decided to splurge. Man, am I glad I did. This block is great! If you do a lot of sanding you need to get one (or more). Loads up easily with a quarter sheet strip of sandpaper and locks in place with no slippage. Easy to grip and the rubber padding provides good contact with the workpiece. Because of the locking design you can even remove a used sheet without damaging it a save for use later. As soon as my boss tried mine he went online and ordered 2 more. Gotta love a simple, practical, well-made tool. Stop reading, get one.

> 3 dayIve owned and made many different sanding blocks, but this one tops them all. You really need at least two or more, so your not changing grits back and forth on the same block all the time. They are a little pricey,so wait till they go on sale or purchase them with a 20% or more off coupon from Rockler.

> 3 dayBetween repetitive stress injuries from typing and good old inherited arthritis, sanding can be quite a pain. This thing is massive and my hand’s grip on it is an almost neutral position. Really helps relieve pain on larger sanding jobs.

> 3 dayAfter many years of doing woodworking as a hobby I have finally found a Sanding Block that holds the paper tight, is easy to load and great for sanding. I have tried many sanding blocks over the years and never found one as convenient to use as the Preppin Weapon. It is definitely worth the money.

> 3 dayLets face it. Sanding sucks. I spend 40 hours making something and then it seems like another 40 hours sanding and finishing. The preppin weapons make the sanding part much easier. You can quickly make a single cut on a standard sheet, flip the levers on the preppin weapon, put in the sheet, and lock levers back. Takes 20 seconds and speeds things up. The bottom is slightly padded, maybe 1/8 inch to make the sanding a little smoother. I bought one, like it a lot, then bought one of every color (there a six colors, not all available on amazon). I have several other sanding block systems but they are lesser quality and I dont use, all soon to be in trashcan. I wrote the grit size on each one, in the order of the rainbow (roygbiv) from corse to fine. Now it much easier and frankly faster to hand sand. I still use random orbit first to 120, but then switch to the preppin weapon to get up to 180. Then 220 after first coat of finish, 300 after all subsequent coats. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI purchased this with one main use in mind: to sand my thick bamboo cutting board which is used on a daily basis and acquires knife marks and stains over time. Just taking a peice of sandpaper and sanding it by hand is pretty tedious and its difficult to sand evenly. This sanding block makes it so much easier! I purchased some already cut to fit sandpaper strips by Appex that came in a variety of grits and just flamed them onto this block. It was easy to get it really taut with the clips on each end. Using this makes the sanding really and it makes the job go fast. This was the perfect tool for this job, and Im sure it will get lots of use on other projects in the future.

> 3 dayIt is hard to rave about something so simple as a sanding block but this block is easy to load with sandpaper, easy to hold in your hand and makes hand sanding much easier and more controlled. I now have two of the blocks so I can sand with two grits without changing paper. I have also given this as a gift to a fellow woodworker because I found it so handy.

17-11-2024This is my second one. The first one is still being used almost daily, I just wanted a second one to have handy for usng other grits of sand paper. I HIGHLY recommend and endorse this product. Workers great on wood, metals, plastics, etc, anything thatd needs a steady hand and a smooth sanding finish.
