> 3 dayThis is my third Preppin Weapon sanding block. The first two are 10 years old and still going strong. I added a third so I dont have to switch sandpaper as often. They hold a quarter sheet of sandpaper, you can easily stack 3 pieces at the same time and they hold the paper tight.

> 3 dayThis is my second one. The first one is still being used almost daily, I just wanted a second one to have handy for usng other grits of sand paper. I HIGHLY recommend and endorse this product. Workers great on wood, metals, plastics, etc, anything thatd needs a steady hand and a smooth sanding finish.

> 3 dayThese feel like heavy quality sanding blocks that will last.... well... forever. I love the quality feel they give me during use and the ease of changing out the sandpaper is excellent. Much better than what was around for sanding blocks at the beginning of my woodworking career some decades ago. I could not imagine how to make a hand held sanding block any better and it gives you the ability to cut up standard size sand paper as opposed to the more expensive hook and loop sand paper solutions, which is just fine sometimes, just more extravagant that standard paper.

> 3 daythese are awesome sanding blocks and the variety of colors allows me to load a different grit on each one and know what Im reaching for -- green (Go!) start with 100; blue, 120; yellow (get ready to stop) 150; red (stop after this one), 180.

> 3 dayThis thing is fantastic for Woodworking!! I can see why it has almost 400 ratings at 4.8. Should be 10K++ at 5-Stars in my opinion. I understand why some people say they bought several. All sanding CAN be done with a machine but quality finish sanding MUST be done by Hand IMHO. This makes that so much easier and yields a better result. This is also fantastic for sanding with the grain in between grits. It really helps to smooth out the swirls left by machines. As far as being somewhat difficult with sandpaper because it could be shorter... eh maybe?? Id buy another one if they made it slightly shorter but still keep and use this one. My only comment on the paper is that you need to be sure that when cutting to fit, you dont rip the paper. If you rip or tear the sandpaper (so that its not a perfectly straight cut along the long edge) that tear will catch on the wood surface eventually. Then youll need to trash that piece (or use it another way). Im not exactly sure why someone would review this as not so great for Woodworking. That doesnt make sense to me, but everyone has different experiences. I think this is great for long, even sanding strokes so that you dont take too much off near an edge or in the middle with a smaller block. Again, just my opinion... I think this is great for Woodworking.
