This thing makes life much easier. The rubber is firm under the sandpaper and the clips hold true.

Get it. Bigger than the typical sanding blocks with the little spikes that you push the paper into. Great tool for woodworking.

I tried sanding with just the plain sandpaper and it really stunk. It just was not effective. I kept losing my grip. The sandpaper was ripping. I just couldnt get the force I needed to truly sand the way I liked. This tool is heavy duty (well made) and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
