> 24 hourI purchased these for extra security for a new apartment but didnt realize that older, less maintained sliding doors might not have enough clearance to slide over these locks. I wasnt able to use them on my sliding glass door, so keep that in mind. They probably work well on most, newer sliding doors though.

> 24 hourOur 3 year old likes to let himself outside. We had been using a wood stick in the sliding door track, but he figured that out. These go on easy and lock very quick. The only issue is that they are thick enough when closed to make it a little harder to open and shut the door when it rubs past these. I dont know that theres much a manufacturer could do to make that better, and its much better than losing a toddler. The adhesive seems pretty adequate. If someone really wanted to get into your house, this isnt going to stop them, but it is great for parents.

> 24 hourThis child lock is super easy to install and does its job by preventing my toddler from opening the sliding glass door. It doesnt keep the door 100% closed (so toddler can crack it open and let flies in) but it serves its purpose as a child lock.

> 24 hourMy 3-year-old figured out the locks on our sliding doors, so we needed something that would prevent her from opening the door but still make it easy for us to let the dogs out. This was the perfect solution and is very strong. Ive pulled the door open hard a couple of times on accident, and it hasnt budged!

> 24 hourWe have a pool and are worried about the grandchildren going outside by themselves. I go outside frequently and dont want them to come outside with me. So, I put one on the inside of the sliding glass door and one on the outside of the door. Now it can be locked when not in use and I can go outside and lock it, then unlock it to go back inside. Works great. Easy application. Make sure you clean the sliding glass door with dish soap then rinse off with water and let it dry first. Ensure you put it high enough for the kids not to reach but for you to be able to comfortably lock it with the buttons on top and bottom. Make sure you position it correctly before peeling off the plastic backing. Mine is not budging after applying it. Great product!
