> 3 dayThese work great! I wish we had these when my kids were little instead of drilling holes in our doors for a special lock. Just remember to put them up high enough so the kiddies cant reach them. Keep in mind you do not have to have kids to use them. This will also help as an extra layer of security protection for your sliding doors.

> 3 dayThis worked for me immediately. We have multiple sliding glass doors in our home. Our two year old quickly figured out how to open and unlock them, which is an issue. One of my biggest fears was the doors being opened at night without my knowing and an accident occurring. These instantly took that worry away from me. I was very skeptical about these working because so many times something claims to be childproof then isn’t. However these are strong enough that my two year old can’t open the door when In use. I will say that I don’t think these are suitable for older children that can reach via chair or other means. They are very easy to close, and aren’t difficult to figure out. If my toddler could reach, he would be able to close the latch and open the door. So keep that in mind. BUT for us, and for now, these work great.

> 3 dayThis thing is fantastic!! I put it at my eye height so my 3 year old and 1 year old can’t reach it. It’s amazing. So much peace of mind knowing they can’t open the door. I considered bringing this on vacations and using 3M temporary stick to put it up but haven’t needed to. Highly recommend, just make sure it’s high enough the kids can’t reach it. My 3 year old is smart enough he could manipulate this if it were accessible. We put ours about 2” from the edge of the door- it’s far enough you don’t try to open the door and thing the track is broke but close enough you don’t have enough momentum to make it pop off.

04-06-2025Used this product for a sliding glass door. Probably okay for toddlers but was very flimsy and not well made in my opinion.

Greater than one weekWe got to that stage where my toddler wanted to live outside even at night. She figure out the door and the lock system and she was letting her self out and it just was not a safe situation. These were a great solution to our problem even if they are down it makes it a little harder for her to open but you will be fine opening when they’re down.

> 3 dayWe have a pool and are worried about the grandchildren going outside by themselves. I go outside frequently and dont want them to come outside with me. So, I put one on the inside of the sliding glass door and one on the outside of the door. Now it can be locked when not in use and I can go outside and lock it, then unlock it to go back inside. Works great. Easy application. Make sure you clean the sliding glass door with dish soap then rinse off with water and let it dry first. Ensure you put it high enough for the kids not to reach but for you to be able to comfortably lock it with the buttons on top and bottom. Make sure you position it correctly before peeling off the plastic backing. Mine is not budging after applying it. Great product!

> 3 dayVery easy to install, just make sure its at the right spot to keep the door from opening as wide as you want. I put the first one on and realized it allowed the door to open just enough for my little one to stick her finger in the crack, and I was unable to readjust, I just put another one up and figured Id leave to first as double security. They still kept my kiddo from opening the door, even after the kiddo repeatedly tried to pull the door open.

05-06-2025This is a must have if you have kids and sliding doors! I would recommend putting it all the way to the top. I didn’t do that on the first one I installed and then I could get it off to move it. They do prevent the door from opening and they have held up great.
