Our kiddo learned to unlatch the sliding door and I worried hed slide it over his toes or leave it open at some point. And that our house would be raised by flies. This is a great out of reach lock attached to the pane of the glass higher up. Has just enough resistance to prevent unwanted opening. Great for a child lock secondary safety.

I use this lock to help keep sliding patio door closed. I need to keep my mom with dementia from opening door and wandering outside or constantly letting pets in/out . I put it up high enough that she cant reach it. It adheres strongly to glass and was simple to install. Other locks required holes to be drilled or other complicated adjustments. This lock is basically peel and stick. The adhesive is good quality 3M. Super easy to lock/unlock for adult so it works in my situation only because mom is really short plus she doesnt realize lock is there. Would be good for toddlers but probably not for older children able to reach it somehow.

Our 3 year old likes to let himself outside. We had been using a wood stick in the sliding door track, but he figured that out. These go on easy and lock very quick. The only issue is that they are thick enough when closed to make it a little harder to open and shut the door when it rubs past these. I dont know that theres much a manufacturer could do to make that better, and its much better than losing a toddler. The adhesive seems pretty adequate. If someone really wanted to get into your house, this isnt going to stop them, but it is great for parents.

They work exactly as expected. I have 4 glass sliding doors, somehow different. They fit the newer doors better. The older doors they’re a little tight squeeze but it still works. I was hesitant because of the review that they *could not* get them off, but I put one too high on the tighter doors and with some hard work and floss, got it off in about 5 minutes and restuck it a little lower so I could push the door to close it if needed. I would rather it be that hard to get off so obviously the adhesive is awesome and my kid can’t get it off without the help of an adult. The look is sleek and not bad. I would make it smaller and more sleek if possible but I don’t think it could be any smaller and work this good. Really gives peace of mind with my 14 month old and all these doors leading to the pool.

Added these to my sliding closet in my sons room because he wouldn’t stop playing with the doors and smashing his finger/taking things out he shouldn’t. These are such a game changer and has saved me so much frustration. Definitely recommend.

These 100% work!! ESPECIALLY if you have toddlers. My almost 3 year old tries to go outside by herself and although we have a fence she went outside by herself when we were sleeping and scared us so I immediately bought this.

Got these because we live in an apartment on the upper floor for windows and sliding door with my kids. They are so durable and heavy duty I can’t even get them back off the glass! Kids can’t get them off I love them!
