> 3 dayI already own multiple Meross products. When I saw they had a HomeKit 3 way switch, I had to buy it. Great product from the start, inside the packaging there’s labels for each wire, clear instructions if you are unsure what you’re doing. Setup was easy with HomeKit, super reliable and no issues with setup. Highly recommend!!

> 3 dayI had high hopes for this product because it was the only WiFi enabled 3 Way Dimmer I could find. I put it on its own 2.4ghz IoT optimized WiFi network and it will just randomly disconnect and will say offline in HomeKit. Recently it started just shutting off the lights they are connected to and we thought it was a HomeKit bug but then upon further inspection we noticed status LEDs on the switch start blinking different colors after it does this and then the lights will come back on. It’s almost like the switch is rebooting. The most annoying thing is that every time we turn on our toaster the lights start flickering in the kitchen. My electrician suggested it might be because the toaster outlet may be on a shared neutral. This may be the case but the manual dimmer that was connected before didn’t have this problem. I tried reaching out to support but never got a response. I have some other Meross products including the baby machine and garage door opener and both of those devices are problematic too with connectivity. It’s not the network though. I have excellent coverage through my house with an enterprise grade setup and none of my other IoT devices (of which there are many) have issues.

> 3 dayIve been slowly upgrading my house to make it smart and in-wall switches have been one of the last steps. Im glad I found the Meross one since it connects to Apple HomeKit, the Meross app is easy to use and the installation was a breeze. The directions are pretty straight forward with diagrams to help. Took me about an hour for everything. Here are the steps that I took to install this 3-way switch in my kitchen: 1. Turned off the power and then took off the face plates. I took a picture of the existing wiring just in case I wanted to go back to the old switches. 2. I disconnected all the wires in both switch boxes and then turned the power back on. I made sure nobody was around when I did this. 3. Using my electrical tester, I carefully identified the Live wire. Mine was black. 4. Turned the power back off. 5. I then started taking the wire nuts (included in the Meross box) and connecting wires to the switch box with the Live wire in it. Green to the copper ground wire, Live to the black wire above, the Neutral wire (mine was white and was buried in the back of the box), and then the Traveler Wires. Meross includes stickers to put on the wires, but I skipped that step. 6. There were two Traveler wires - 50/50 guess which one was the right one so I took a guess. 7. Then I went over to the other switch box and connected the wires there. Just four of them - Green to Copper ground (again), Black to Black and then my guess at the two Traveler Wires 8. Tucked everything back in and then turned the power. After all of that, it didnt work. Why? My guess at the traveler wires was wrong! Meross points out in the instructions that this is probably the culprit. So I turned the power back off and simply switched the traveler wires in the 2nd box. Power back on and it worked! Both switches could manually turn on! Next, syncing it up to HomeKit was a breeze. There is an 8 digit code on the front of the 1st switch that I used to activate it. It took about 30 sec to add it to HomeKit. I have another Meross device so I already had that app on my phone. In the Meross app, I hit the + button at the top right and it automatically found the device. Super easy. I am able to control it through Siri, Google Home and Alexa with no problems. It reacts pretty quickly too - maybe a split second from the time I try to activate it with my voice to it coming on. The dimmer function seems to work in 25% increments manually from the switch, but through the app you can get it more precise (if you really wanted to dim your lights to an exact 47%, I guess you could). All-in-all, this 3-way switch is very user friendly at a good price. Love the Apple HomeKit integration. Would definitely recommend!

> 3 dayWe installed one in the master bedroom and the future nursery. My wife leaves early for work and before I would wake up every morning after she turned on the lights to get ready. Now she would keep the lights dimmed so it is not a big shock for me in the morning. We haven’t used the nursery dimmer yet, but we can see it being useful in the near future. They were easy to install and it is easy to control using the app on our phone.

> 3 dayI installed this switch in my bathroom in about 20 minutes. Note, it does require a neutral wire. Set up is very easy, and the switch does exactly what its supposed to do. One of my recommendations is that the firmware be updated so that when the light switch is off, pushing any of the 3 buttons would turn it on. Right now, the switch only turns on if the bottom button is pressed. For guests that might be fumbling around in the dark for a light switch, they may have some trouble turning this on if they are used to the rocker style switch. My other recommendation is that one of the LED light be illuminated when the switch is of, to aid in finding it in a dark room. My z-wave switches have this option and it can be enabled or disabled. Overall, if youre looking for a single pole smart dimming wifi switch with Alexa and Google control, you cant really go wrong with this item for under $25.

> 3 dayThe installation went smoothly. I am very pleased with the looks and operation of the switches. I was concerned that they would be made cheaply due to the price. Both switches function perfectly with a positive feel. In my opinion, they also look good. My wife does not like it when I add smart devices to our home but she is happy with being able to manually operate these. In addition to the application, I use Google Home and Amazon Echo to operate these. The set-up for both was straight forward and work well. I did need to use 2G rather than my 5G WIFI connection. I will be purchasing more of these.

> 3 dayI was wary of the getting this for the price as most others were 2 to 3 times the price, but I was not disappointed. I was able to replace my two single-pole switches in minutes and connected up to both my Samsung Hub and Alexa all within 20 minutes. The switch controls are easy for non-connected use and the app control is on par with the big guys. I would definitely purchase Meross product again - getting their garage door opener now.

> 3 dayGreat dimmable smart switch! The installation is easy for anyone with basic home improvement skill. The mobile app is easy to use but is fairly limited in its features. The biggest gap with this dimmer is that there is no way to disable the led on its face plate, this makes them less than ideal for bedroom. I hope meross can add this to their next firmware update.

> 3 dayThe packaging looks nice, installation is easy and matches that of any 3-way switch and went without a hitch. A normal 3-way switch costs, I guess, 7 USD or so? So the only sales point this has is that it allegedly connects to Apple HomeKit. But it doesnt. Tried seven times for over an hour, out of those seven times it connected once and showed up in Apple Home, the app on my iPhone. We have full WLAN coverage and full bars, no blind spots, WLAN router sitting just underneath a conventional wood framing construction without any interference. Reception is not the issue, nor routing, no VPN or anything else that could be an obstacle. Six times it showed unable to add accessory, one time it added it but remained unresponsive, so actually using it through the Home app is not possible. This leaves us with just walking up to the switch and dimming or switching, which 7 USD do as well. Cannot recommend, save your money, but know there is no proper stand-alone solution to date that works with HomeKit. None of them work, tried all of them, and all of them have their quirks making them unusable. If its due to Apple, well, dont sell it and go with someone who gets the job done, this way its advertising on what you cannot deliver.
