These 3-way dimmers with HomeKit support were the final piece to my HomeKit lighting puzzle! With these installed, now all of the lights in my house dim from 1% to 100%, all through the Meross app, and Apple’s native Home app. Installation couldn’t have been easier (you can do it through the Meross app and/or Home app - your choice!), and you won’t find a better price for HomeKit light switches. Oh, and there’s no hub required!

Update: I love this brand and will continue to buy, but they have changed the design of their switches. So now I have 4 light switches that won’t match as I continue to buy and replace old ones. These are great for the money. I’m no electrician but I was able to hook up this 3 gang switch. The far left is a 3 way dimmer. The two on the right are the regular dimmer. Easy to connect to WiFi with the app. Work great with google home. Good instructions. I docked a star bc the LED lights on the switches themselves are a little much. Wish there was a way to dim them.

Everything is included with this switch kit. They even include labels for the different wires. There are some basic tools required (screwdriver, needle-nosed pliers, and a voltage meter). The Meross app takes through setting up, step by step. It is very easy to set up. Once I got it all setup and linked to the app, it was great! I have mine connected to my Alexa and SmartThings. The Meross app also has some functions, like a timer. I set my timer to dim the light after bedtime, which gives just enough light to walk around at night. Very impressed with this product for the value!

This light switch replaced and old Intermatic model that you had to program at the switch. Was a little cumbersome to make schedule changes to the Intermatic. Just another FYI - the switch has status indicator lights, even a red one, when switched to off. Therefore, if you putting in a room where you prefer completed darkness you will have to make a compromise or McGyver a solution. Other posts have indicated that this was not always the case. Overall happy with this Black Friday purchase.

I bought these smart switches to control lights in my home. Most of the smart switches went to outdoor lights as it was the best option for me to have the best control of lights I needed to operated remotely. The install is super easy and they connect to my wifi with no issues. Every one that I have installed needed a firmware update immediately after installing but they were operational in minutes. Pairing with Alexa app was also easy and I was turing on and off my lights using my echo dot in minutes after install. They are a little bulky compared to normal switches so make sure you push the wires and wire nuts to the far back of the box you are installing them in or you wont fit them in on the first shot evenly. They do need to be grounded and I had to ground them to a metal electrical box in one installation as I have some older wiring in my home along with some newer but the switches work great and wifi signal is not an issue in plastic or metal boxes. I also love that when the lights are off you see a little red light in the body of the switch. You can instantly tell if the lights are on or off and if it is dark in the room you can easily find the switches. They also make a satisfying click when depressed and I havent had a single issue with any of the switches that I’ve got.

This is the third Meross HomeKit light switch weve installed now. Over the course of 6 months or so weve had no hiccups with any of them. The more lights we put on HomeKit the cooler the scenes can be. We wanted the recessed lights in the kitchen to be just barely on while watching a movie so that people could grab snacks without flipping on lights. So we put the recessed lights on our new 3 way dimmer switch and set up a HomeKit scene for movie nights to turn them to 1%. Even at 1% there is no flicker. We also added a scene for washing dishes which turns the recessed lights up to full brightness so we can see that everything is getting clean. As far as insights about the switches themselves, the buttons have a nice click to them. They are a very bright white. The switch plates in the photos are your standard Leviton white plastic plates. The Meross switches definitely stand out a bit, but the photos exaggerate the difference slightly. The instructions Meross provides for installation are always great. I did myself a favor this time and bought a voltage detector to help identify wires. Its a worthwhile investment in convenience and safety if youre going to be replacing switches.

The packaging looks nice, installation is easy and matches that of any 3-way switch and went without a hitch. A normal 3-way switch costs, I guess, 7 USD or so? So the only sales point this has is that it allegedly connects to Apple HomeKit. But it doesnt. Tried seven times for over an hour, out of those seven times it connected once and showed up in Apple Home, the app on my iPhone. We have full WLAN coverage and full bars, no blind spots, WLAN router sitting just underneath a conventional wood framing construction without any interference. Reception is not the issue, nor routing, no VPN or anything else that could be an obstacle. Six times it showed unable to add accessory, one time it added it but remained unresponsive, so actually using it through the Home app is not possible. This leaves us with just walking up to the switch and dimming or switching, which 7 USD do as well. Cannot recommend, save your money, but know there is no proper stand-alone solution to date that works with HomeKit. None of them work, tried all of them, and all of them have their quirks making them unusable. If its due to Apple, well, dont sell it and go with someone who gets the job done, this way its advertising on what you cannot deliver.

Once installed it works like a charm! Needed some expert input to get the 3-way function working. Now when it is installed we love it!
