> 3 dayThe only issue I had is my phone wouldnt scan the tiny qr code on the back- I looked at these reviews though and someone mentioned the name of the app you need (HBN Smart). It took me two minutes to set it up and provided hours of entertainment turning the lamp on my husbands side of the couch off and on. We cant wait to have friends over so I can mess with them too

> 3 daythese were very difficult to get the app to recognize, and i finally gave up and instead used an app that i use daily (atomi) to get them to work. used one for xmas tree, another for outside xmas lights. one is being used on a compressor in my garage, it pulls close to 1500 watts on startup and have had no problems with it. they have a lot of features and work well especially for the price. if you can get past the point where they are recognized by your chosen app, they are great. recommend.

> 3 dayI like the fact that I can handle a lot more devices power wise, but the Wi-Fi connection keeps dropping. So I can’t depend on it in my Automated household.

> 3 dayOk. After we got our tree up the power button ended up being at the back of the creed. Made It very difficult to turn lights on and off . Decided to buy another power plug to plug lights in so we could use Alexa to turn lights on smd off. It worked just like we expected. We were already using one for our living room light. Do It only made sense to use It for the Christmas tree lights lights also. Worked like a charm. My grandchildren could put the lights on and off. When they wanted.

> 3 dayI bought a single pack back in October to use for a strobe light during halloween - I found it was VERY easy to setup and schedule. Integrating with with Alexa was a breeze as well. I tried an Amazon brand plug when it was on sale, but had nothing but issues with it. On top of the Amazon plug not responding, I didnt like having to go-to the Alexa App for that plug and SmartLife for the other - 2 different apps depending on the plug I was controlling was annoying, so I bought a 2-pack of the HBN plugs and now have 3 of these. I use 2 of them to control the lights on my two fish tanks, and the other will be a holiday plug - CURRENT-ly; get it, current :-); I have it turning my Christmas tree lights. Pairing and setting up a schedule in the Smart Life app (just make sure you switch your phone to the 2.4GHz network or it wont see the plug). There are a lot of simple schedule options - have a planted tank that has a scheduled times to be ON and OFF so the plants to get enough light. My other tank has no plants, so too much light would lead to algae - so I have setup so that Alexa can turn it on demand, and set multiple times that turn the lights OFF if my kid, wife, or even myself (Mostly my kid) didnt turn them back off. And at any time I just ask my Echo Show, Alexa, or google phone assistant to turn on the fish tank lights, or turn off the Christmas Tree :-)

> 3 dayI love these programmable switches, but one of the 4 I got has a broken switch, so it doesnt work. I am hoping to get a replacement... I will reevaluate after dealing with the manufacturing company.
