An infinitely fun game for the whole family. My wife and son play it more than I do! The rules are simple and game time can vary between 1-10 minutes depending on how cleverly you play. ;-) Also, travel case!

This is easy to learn and hard to master. Great two player game. Non-board gamers will love this game.

This game was recommended to my family, but we had a hard time buying it because the original was so big and we were looking for things that we could easily travel with and store in a small space. We bought this one and are really happy with it. First, the pieces are plenty big for comfortable play. Second, you get TWO expansion sets with it. And third, its a great strategy game that anyone can learn, but that takes a bit of brain power to play, so its really great for many ages to play. I would say 6-7 wouldnt be too young if the kiddo was interested in games. Overall, I would recommend the pocket version over the larger version with less pieces.

Great game. Havent played the full size, but this is great to play and easy to travel with because its small. Highly recommend.

My family has had a great time playing this game. Its pretty easy to pick up, but challenging to master. The pocket version is good for travel and includes 4 expansion pieces. Good value!

Hard to overstate how fun this game is. The simplicity and elegance, yet depth of the game, are hard to replicate. The quality of the tiles are extremely high. The more I play this game, the more I note the balance in the ability of the pieces and the expertise with which the rules were crafted.

This travel game is great! The playing pieces have a lovely feel; are thick, smooth and heavy; and fit perfectly in the drawstring bag. I am so glad I got the travel version instead of the full version- it comes with the Ladybug and the Mosquito which you have to purchase separately if you are buying the full-size game. Weve only played a few times so far and not advanced to using the add-on pieces yet, but its fun and different each time, and not as threatening as chess. It is easy to play without a board and even adds to the challenge as you have to visualize the hex shapes. The price is perfect and the only thing I would possibly change is the map-like folding directions. It would be much better as a stapled booklet but I plan to type up a little card summarizing the moves for each bug, laminate it for durability, and tuck it in the bag. I ordered this game as an alternative to chess for my 12 year old daughter and I to play. Neither of us is competitive and like a laid-back approach to games however Id like her to learn strategy to strengthen her critical thinking skills.
