> 3 dayThe tiles are higher quality than I expected out of a $20 game. Great interesting take on the chess style boardgames that usually finishes up in about 10-15 minutes for me. Rules are fairly simple and can be explained in about 5-10 minutes, with players really getting the hang of it after 2 games or so. I feel like the bag is a little bit big to fit in a mans shorts pocket and definitely too big for jeans. It fits nicely into a purse and can work with shorts for on the go play. Really like that you dont need anything except for a flat-surface so its convenient to take with you and play as a small time waster like waiting for food at a restaurant. If I had to make any complain about the game it would be the bag that it comes with for storage. It feels a little cheap and the rope at the top came frayed so Im worried that Ill lose pieces especially with it being a travel game. If you are worried about this it wouldnt be hard to find a better bag but for most people it should be ok.

Greater than one weekI love that this game takes only a few minutes to play, but requires strategy and has so few pieces. However, it took Several minutes to read through and comprehend the directions and then we had to keep referencing them during the game, but after 2 games we started to get the hang of it. And because the games really don’t take very long ( or they didn’t in our case) we were able to learn the game in one sitting. I look forward to playing it again. I actually bought it because I thought it would be a fun game to play on an upcoming train trip we’re taking. I think it’ll fill at least a half hour of the 16 hour trip. Haha.

Greater than one weekI had never played Hive but have been reading so many great things about it. Took it to the brewpub the first night with a friend and we played more rounds than I can remember. This is a great game, and a great set. The pieces are well made and have a great feel. Everything is super easy to carry in the included pouch.

> 3 dayI really like the Picket Size. Don’t know why people feel they are too small to play with on a regular basis. The game requires a little study to get use to the moves but then is much easier to play than chess while still challenging. The pieces are well made and cute.

Greater than one weekThe best road game ever! Easy to learn, easy to play, yet the compoundness remains and makes each game unique.

> 3 dayThis version of the game comes with the base set of pieces as well as the additional, more advanced mosquito and ladybug. Also included is a pretty quality canvas bag for holding the game. The pieces are durable and tactile, very fun to hold and play with. The game itself is extremely fun, easy to learn + teach, and quick to play. Definitely my go-to game when travelling or just trying to kill some time with a friend. I often describe it as chess, if chess was fun. Each game takes at most a few minutes, and even after months of playing regularly I feel like I still learn something from every round. After playing a round, everyone Ive played with has wanted to jump into another game to test out a new strategy or piece. All in all, a very fun and engaging game for 2 players. Would recommend to literally anyone.
