> 24 hourI was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews of the old version but I have been quite happy with the 2019 edition so far. Pros: - Sound quality is top notch. You can discern even the tiniest sounds with these. It surprised me at first because I couldnt tell what it was until I really listened and figured out it was a tiny sound I normally wouldnt hear. Very good for gamers and hearing footsteps. - Very Comfortable. The pads feel like youre not wearing anything. Most headsets squeeze my head after a few hours but these I wore all day without any problems. I like the adjustable strap they have as well. - Decent Range. I was able to go halfway across my house until the signal finally dropped but thats also going through quite a few walls. In the open, I would say you could get about 40-50 ft. before the signal drops. Cons: - The Microphone. While I dont expect it to be the top of the line, my old $60 HyperX headset was far superior to this mic. I have to lower my mic volume down to 50% so people dont hear the background noise the mic inherently picks up. I tried putting some noise reducing foam on it but that didnt seem to help at all. I will wait to see if it has the same problem as the previous version I see people complaining about in reviews about the mic not working after a few months but so far all is good - Volume settings on the back of the headset, While not a terrible problem, does cause a bit of an annoyance when you lay your head back or brush your hand up against it accidentally. Ive unknowingly done this a couple times and either almost blew my ears out or turned it all the way down without realising. - Headset sometimes makes a crackling sound if you get to far away from the dongle. One time I had to turn them off and back on to get rid of it. TLDR: Overall the headset is pretty nice for a wireless headset besides the fairly bad mic quality. Great sound quality, good range, very comfortable, good battery life for now. I will update my review after Ive had it a few more months to see if its still just as good.

> 24 hourI have had this pair of headsets for 3 years and I have enjoyed them. when playing an FPS I can actually hear footsteps clearly which gives me a bit of an edge and helps me in games. I also use this to listen to music and play RPGMMOs like FFXIV, the sound quality is amazing. I have recommended these to my friends and family if they have the money for them. Yes they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for and they are definitely well worth the money. I bought a second pair for my gaming laptop. I will say after 3 years the ear pads are a little worn but I think I can replace them without replacing the headset itself. One thing I did have to get used to is the headset did feel a little tight on my head but after adjusting the head band it was perfect.

> 24 hourI was in the market looking for a new gaming headset that wasnt going to break the bank. I was able to snag these for around low 100s and pulled the trigger on them! I have heard many great things about this headset, but I wanted to really try them for myself and see if I liked them. After a year of using these bad boys, I can definitely say it was worth all $100! I think the sound quality is good enough, especially for the price of $100. My favorite thing about this headset is the simple/easy bluetooth connection. I leave the dongle connected to my PC and anytime I want to use my headset I just turn them on and theyre prepared to go! The headset is built pretty nicely, very sturdy & strong build. The ear cushion is pretty cozy, I have definitely worn this headset for 4 hours straight gaming. Absolutely no complaints, its really well-built and nice! The only issue I would have with this headset is that sometimes it loses connection on initial set up & the battery life is aite... I use this headset pretty often so I can see why the battery life has been diminished. I charge mine after every use because I like the portability aspect of it being wireless. If this is a deal breaker for you, the Arctic 7 pros comes with an additional battery for you to swap while the other one is charging. Only regret I have on this headset is that I didnt wait long enough to get the white ones :(. Other than that! Absolutely A1 headset for gaming!

> 24 hourThe headset materials do not feel cheap, they feel well made and sturdy with the metal band on the top with a rubber matte under side which your head never hits due to the comfortable ski goggle band. The ear cups on this 2019 version are super soft and provide enough cushioning so my ears arent bothered by the speakers and the whole headset is nice and light along with the Arctis 7 being wireless, makes this headset nice and comfortable for long gaming sessions. The mic is great quality and has been notably better than my previous headset (Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma) as noted by my friends through discord (Also the headset is detected up by discord as a certified input/output device). One of the things I dislike (which is also helpful) about the headset is that if you turn the volume wheel above 90% there is a slight static that I hear. This isnt a problem for me as the headset is loud enough where I keep the volume wheel around 70-80%. The static sound actually helps me if I accidentally slide the volume wheel to 100% when I put the headset on I can hear the static and know to reduce the volume under 90% until the static goes away so I wont get blasted by audio when I watch a youtube video or start a game. There is also a Program you can download called the SteelSeries Engine 3 (which isnt needed for the headset to work) to change settings such as mic sidetone, power options, bass enhancement, equlizer, dynamic range compression, surround settings (although the surround sound wasnt as good as my previous Razer Kraken 7.1 headset) and more. There is also apps in the SteelSeries Engine 3 that work along side other SteelSeries devices Such as PrismSync, AudioVisualizer, ImageSync and apps for games and programs like CSGO, Minecraft, iFeelPixel, Tidal (Coming soon), Dota 2, Utopia 9 and Discord. Overall this headset exceeds my expectations and is worth the price. I have only been using the headset for about a week now so I will keep this review updated if I have any problems with it. :D

> 24 hourWhen I first saw these reviews I was very hesitant to purchase this headset, however I think it was worth it. The delivery time only took a day to deliver since I am a Prime user, so for any user that isnt Prime, they may have a completely experience regarding delivery time and customer service. First thing I noticed when I opened up the headset are the three cables: one for the wireless feature, one for charging, and the last for plugging into a controller or devices with the respected headphone jack size. Pairing my headset with my laptop was simple enough if you read the instructions so I did not have any difficulty there. As for comfort, it is wonderful so far! Once I put it on, it was like a pillow for my head and there is little tightness, and as a decently small person of 52 this headset may not be for wide-built people since theres no adjustability. I would like to address the noise cancellation, it is pretty good! Though, you may hear a bit of background muttering so your listening experience will not block out loud noises like a dog barking at a mailman lol. As for sound quality, I was a bit sad that the bass did not impact me so much when listening to music, but the sound is very nice, but if you love to listen to bass-focused music/soundtracks you should look for a different headset focusing on a quality music listening. Overall, pretty comfortable yet slightly tight (not for big/wide-built heads), decent sound quality (bass isnt that great), and it blocks out random talking but not extremely loud noises nearby. These headphones are perfect for gaming though.

> 24 hourMy last headset (logitec) was falling apart and had a short in the wire to the right ear piece. I needed a new headset. Friends kept recommending me to the Steel Series Arctics. One recommended 7 and the other 9. I saved up and got the Arctics 7. First thing Im happy about. No cord, unless its charging. I have 3 cats, and two of them love wriggling stings and cables, the youngest the most. Id love to blame them for the issues with my last headset, but those issues started before I got these two cats. With the Arctics 7 headset, no cable!!! No worrying about a new headset being damaged by playful fluffballs, or the possibility of the cats getting hurt. Second thing: the stretchy band that adjusts, it makes the headset so comfortable and helps the headset fit snug on my head. Third: The ear covers are also comfortable and warm. My ears get cold easily so when a headset keeps my ears warm on top of being comfortable, its a bonus. My last headset was also comfortable and warm on the ear part, so its nice to have that again. Forth: Mute. I have a bad habit of accidentally muting myself or forgetting that Ive muted myself. The red light on the mic when muted is very nice! 5th: Sound Channels. Im still getting use to the volume controls and stuff, but I love how theres 2 different sound settings! Now if I can just remember that I sometimes set the media player sound to come through the chat channel when Im not chatting with people! I had a tv shows audio come through my stream once because I forgot about it. 6. Volume controls. There are two. One is the basic one that controls all volume. The other helps regulate what you hear more. I love it. I really love my new headset.

> 24 hourI love my Arctis 7s, theyre incredibly comfortable and the sound quality is very good (from a non-audiophile). I wear them almost every workday for the whole day while Im on meetings, in addition to using them for PC gaming. It was plug-and-play on both Windows and Linux, and they have become my go-to headphones for being on airplanes (using the included wire to connect to my phone). The charge lasts for a long time, though I typically charge them whenever Im not using them anyway. They arent noise cancelling, but they muffle it pretty well (I often get snuck up on by my family when I am wearing them). I dont really use the included mic, since I have a better usb mic, but when Linux resets to using the headset mic my coworkers can immediately tell because of the decrease in sound quality. The adjustable ski goggles strap is nice, it makes the headset feel lighter and helps it sit at exactly the right height. That said, the headphones are a bit lose and will fall off if I lean too far forward or backward.

> 24 hourI REALLY enjoyed this product for the first couple of weeks I used it, save one or two small complaints, but as time has progressed it has become more of a hassle. They aren’t bad headphones and they work flawlessly with my PS4, but have given me persistent issues with my PC. The good: -The software on PC allows you to customize profiles for different listening applications which is nice (and necessary). -These headphones worked super well with my PS4, which has been super cool. -when they work on my PC I love being wireless and the battery life is pretty good and the headphones are super comfy. The Bad (long because I want to be fair and specific): -out of the box, the sound quality is ROUGH. I mean, sound profiles for headphones are definitely a matter of taste but out of the box I found the high frequencies to be PAINFUL, and there was a severe lack of bass. Any budget Bluetooth headphones is going to struggle to achieve wired levels of sound quality but the shrill and piercing highs almost made me immediately return them. (Definitely had to alter the sound profile with the software in order for them to be usable) -for PC, these headphones have so much happening in the audio drivers/devices side of things that your computer will become confused and stop delivering audio correctly. Sometimes these headphones work perfectly but for me it’s been a coin flip. It creates a proxy “discord” audio device for the discord volume dial feature which is fine if you are only running game audio and discord. I had to disable this feature because I would often listen to music while I listen to discord and game, the discord dial can sometime start effecting volumes of programs you don’t want it to, or may not work at all. Aside from The discord features, of these headphones die while your playing a game, sometimes you have to restart the game for it to re-register the headphones as the appropriate audio device, but sometimes it works fine. Sometimes, my Spotify won’t recognize the Arctic 7 audio device as a valid output and won’t play music through them unless the headphones were on when booting Spotify. Sometimes game sounds just stop and for seemingly no reason. Sometimes your computer wont recognize the Arctic’s 7 at all and aside from restarting your computer there’s not much you can do. There’s all sorts of fixes online for stuff like this online, but unless you enjoy uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and making sure weird caches are cleared it’s been easier in my experience to just restart my computer. Maybe it’s from windows updates, or bad software updates, my own personal setup, or whatever, but I’ve checked most of those things and sometimes there’s no clear reason for a glitch. All that being said, if it is working, it will work great for, usually, an entire session (keep in mind, never had ANY issues on PS4). If your audio setup on your PC is super basic (no speakers, no alternate outputs, just running game sound and discord through these phones) then maybe this is perfect for you. Overall: - I use these headphones all the time, but the 3/5 star rating is ultimately because I still have to keep my wired headset around for when these start to glitch out. The sound quality is rough at first but can be evened out, and I bought these headphones to try out a different sound profile then normal. I knew they would be kind of shrill with less bass, and I don’t ultimately fault them for that but with that in mind, if you like bass heavy profiles, look elsewhere. The directionality is spot on and the mids and highs are so sharp it makes in game sound cues like footsteps or gunshots stand out like crazy. However the highs are so powerful that gunshots are so loud you have to active the sound compression algorithm on the headphones in order to keep your ears from (bleeding?) ONLY hearing explosions or gunshots. These headphones have been a joy at times and a source of frustration as well. For 110$, your expectations can’t be too crazy, if you were to buy a high end mic and high end headphones, all with with a built in high quality Bluetooth DACs with software support for listening profiles you would expect to spend 10x that amount. So it’s a solid deal, but what your buying is wireless-ness not audio quality or reliability. If I had to buy another Bluetooth headset I’d probably spend a bit more money and try a different brand, with less features, more reliability, and better ootb sound quality but that’s my personal preference. TLDR: 3/5

> 24 hourI was a huge fan of these headphones since I got the Arctis 5 in the summer of 2018. Eventually, they started falling apart so I upgraded to the wireless arctic 7s. Ive had them for a few days and the sound is just amazing. The 5s didnt have bass so when I used the 7s the sound was just crystal clear. I listen to music every day and its so amazing being able to move around and do stuff while using these headphones. They are tight on your head and they are comfortable so they dont fall off. I love how the mic retracts in so it doesnt bother you. The sound is amazing, I play videogames all day and the surround sound is excellent, bass can be controlled if you want a lot, little or none at all from the SteelSeries GG app, there are a few more settings you can change on them but I dont know much about those settings so I keep them how they are unless I want bass or not. You can easily adjust them to fit whatever size head you have and they will fit you perfectly without the balance being different on one side or the other. The noise cancellation is good too, my computer is in the living room so its nice not being able to hear my family or the TV all day and be able to focus on either homework or video games. There was only one slight problem I have been having and that is the mic quality. I mean it is a wireless headset so the mic quality wont be as good as many other wire headphones or the big mics on stands but its not really something to worry about its still better than bad? You can still easily use it but your friends or coworkers will need to adjust for a few days. Overall the mic is not something to worry you its still pretty good. I saw other comments about the headphones making contact with your ears and making you feel a bit of pain or discomfort but I do not have that problem and no I dont have small ears. The battery life does last 24 hours and the headphones do charge extremely quickly which caught me by surprise and I am really happy that I dont have to worry about battery life and you can use them while they charge as well thats not a problem. Overall for the price they are. They are worth it. They are slim, tight so they dont fall off, the sound is incredibly clear for all music, games, or just chat. You have 2 volume mixers on the headset so you can easily mute either chat or games or just lower the volume on each one or both. These are great headphones, worth every penny, I cannot wait to keep buying this collection of headphones because they do NOT disappoint and I even know people who got them before me and we love them all.

> 24 hourId definitely recommend it to someone but minor caveat. Wireless version, used on PS5: Pro: -Its easy to set up, you plug the USB receiver into the PS5 and thats about it. -It sounds great, and mic is much better according to friends. I had the razor kraken prior. -Battery life seems excellent. Ive gone a couple days of heavy gaming without charging it and it was fine. Its comfortable, my ears dont sweat like crazy. Big plus there. -Dual volume dials for in game and chat audio. Helpful! -Used it in COD warzone and its definitely easier to detect footsteps. If you know what Im talking about itll make sense, if youve never played it it wont make sense. Con: Aside from the price the biggest CON is that Its not intuitive at all. Ive had it for 2 weeks and I cant tell if it turns itself on automatically when the ps5 turns on or not. I dont understand its charge level AT ALL. Instructions say its green for 80+%. yellow for whatever percentage but that doesnt exist. The mic turns red when its charging and turns off when its full.
