WARNING: Not Plug and Play. Do NOT buy this headset if your system is not administered by you. tl;dr: arrived with a non-functioning mic, otherwise as described. after trying the usual techsupport options (off then on again, settings, hardware reset, change port, change pc, etc) the fix was (seemingly) installation of the companys bloatware. If you dont have install privileges and/or dont want to install bloatware you should look for a different product. This product is decent, with a nice design and good fit. The strap that sits on your head is comfortable and provides a better wear experience than others Ive used. They feel lighter than they are, more like a AKG M220 and (thankfully imo) less like a ASTRO A50. Noise isolation is decent like any closed back headphone, enough that you will want to push one cup behind your ear to have conversations with someone. The mics audio quality is above average for a headset mounted mic, though below average for a stand alone one. The retractable mic seems like a plus, assuming it doesnt become a point of failure. The mute and volume/mixing controls are fine, the audio jack is a nice inclusion but the USB audio jack and cord are fragile. Id be wary of using it daily or for anything important. Look and feel are good, better than a Turtle Beach and on pad with Astros. The hinges and controls feel decent. The only thing that comes of as cheap to me are the USB ports and USB audio cable. Honestly a single USB C solution (or a robust USB B failing that) would be better than going with frail mini/micro options. Packaging and documentation was spartan but fine. The box protected the headphones and was easy to open. Included documentation was spartan but fine. The major failure here was nothing written about the mic needing the companys bloatware to work. Manufacturer support is minimal, web based CS portal and links to their bloatware. No standalone drivers, no forum or faq. The final verdict is that this headset is decent enough once the mic is fixed (see above). If you can get it on sale and handle the mic issue the 7 is an option to consider.

I came from the wired world and have 5-6 well-regarded headsets. But as I was playing more games, I was getting annoyed at the wires so I decided to make the plunge. After a ton of research (and black friday pricing), I purchased these headphones with low expectations. I was wrong. Im not sure if its because of the lack of wires, or because the headphones are actually that great, but THESE HEADPHONES ARE GREAT. First, the basics are solid. The sound is definitely NOT top-tier, but honestly just for daily music, gaming, and YouTube, it is great enough that it really doesnt bother me at all. I have other headphones that do sound better but honestly, these are so great that I have not once even LOOKED at them. Yes, audiophiles can hate me, but whatever. My one caveat though is to try not to play music insanely loud in these, as the quality seems to not be as high once you get past the i want to feel like Im hugging a speaker at a concert volume level, and the highs seem to be a bit shrill and painful. Second, the functionality is incredible. As a person who uses Discord, having the functionality to balance Game sounds & Chat sounds with a dial is just... inspired. All the core functionality is easily accessible. The ONE downside of this is that theyre placed in a location that is easy to accidentally trigger when youre just putting on / taking off your headphones, meaning your volume levels may be changed by accident. I do this, unfortunately, fairly often. Third, wireless. Ive judged you wrongly. Ill never go back. The freedom I felt when I went to another room to get a glass of water while still chatting was surreal (though, admittedly kind of stupid in hindsight). Quality never dropped off, sound seems just as fast, and taking on/off my headphones isnt annoying anymore. The one downside is that the charging cable and port has typical charging cable and port issues, so I wish there were a wireless charging option - that would blow my mind. In summary, get it. Its a fantastic all-rounder with some issues, but overall for me outweighs any of my wired headphones Ive ever owned in 95% of situations.

When I first saw these reviews I was very hesitant to purchase this headset, however I think it was worth it. The delivery time only took a day to deliver since I am a Prime user, so for any user that isnt Prime, they may have a completely experience regarding delivery time and customer service. First thing I noticed when I opened up the headset are the three cables: one for the wireless feature, one for charging, and the last for plugging into a controller or devices with the respected headphone jack size. Pairing my headset with my laptop was simple enough if you read the instructions so I did not have any difficulty there. As for comfort, it is wonderful so far! Once I put it on, it was like a pillow for my head and there is little tightness, and as a decently small person of 52 this headset may not be for wide-built people since theres no adjustability. I would like to address the noise cancellation, it is pretty good! Though, you may hear a bit of background muttering so your listening experience will not block out loud noises like a dog barking at a mailman lol. As for sound quality, I was a bit sad that the bass did not impact me so much when listening to music, but the sound is very nice, but if you love to listen to bass-focused music/soundtracks you should look for a different headset focusing on a quality music listening. Overall, pretty comfortable yet slightly tight (not for big/wide-built heads), decent sound quality (bass isnt that great), and it blocks out random talking but not extremely loud noises nearby. These headphones are perfect for gaming though.

Had them for 2 years, but the charging port busted. From my research it is a common problem. Incredible headset otherwise. Everything was great.

I REALLY enjoyed this product for the first couple of weeks I used it, save one or two small complaints, but as time has progressed it has become more of a hassle. They aren’t bad headphones and they work flawlessly with my PS4, but have given me persistent issues with my PC. The good: -The software on PC allows you to customize profiles for different listening applications which is nice (and necessary). -These headphones worked super well with my PS4, which has been super cool. -when they work on my PC I love being wireless and the battery life is pretty good and the headphones are super comfy. The Bad (long because I want to be fair and specific): -out of the box, the sound quality is ROUGH. I mean, sound profiles for headphones are definitely a matter of taste but out of the box I found the high frequencies to be PAINFUL, and there was a severe lack of bass. Any budget Bluetooth headphones is going to struggle to achieve wired levels of sound quality but the shrill and piercing highs almost made me immediately return them. (Definitely had to alter the sound profile with the software in order for them to be usable) -for PC, these headphones have so much happening in the audio drivers/devices side of things that your computer will become confused and stop delivering audio correctly. Sometimes these headphones work perfectly but for me it’s been a coin flip. It creates a proxy “discord” audio device for the discord volume dial feature which is fine if you are only running game audio and discord. I had to disable this feature because I would often listen to music while I listen to discord and game, the discord dial can sometime start effecting volumes of programs you don’t want it to, or may not work at all. Aside from The discord features, of these headphones die while your playing a game, sometimes you have to restart the game for it to re-register the headphones as the appropriate audio device, but sometimes it works fine. Sometimes, my Spotify won’t recognize the Arctic 7 audio device as a valid output and won’t play music through them unless the headphones were on when booting Spotify. Sometimes game sounds just stop and for seemingly no reason. Sometimes your computer wont recognize the Arctic’s 7 at all and aside from restarting your computer there’s not much you can do. There’s all sorts of fixes online for stuff like this online, but unless you enjoy uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and making sure weird caches are cleared it’s been easier in my experience to just restart my computer. Maybe it’s from windows updates, or bad software updates, my own personal setup, or whatever, but I’ve checked most of those things and sometimes there’s no clear reason for a glitch. All that being said, if it is working, it will work great for, usually, an entire session (keep in mind, never had ANY issues on PS4). If your audio setup on your PC is super basic (no speakers, no alternate outputs, just running game sound and discord through these phones) then maybe this is perfect for you. Overall: - I use these headphones all the time, but the 3/5 star rating is ultimately because I still have to keep my wired headset around for when these start to glitch out. The sound quality is rough at first but can be evened out, and I bought these headphones to try out a different sound profile then normal. I knew they would be kind of shrill with less bass, and I don’t ultimately fault them for that but with that in mind, if you like bass heavy profiles, look elsewhere. The directionality is spot on and the mids and highs are so sharp it makes in game sound cues like footsteps or gunshots stand out like crazy. However the highs are so powerful that gunshots are so loud you have to active the sound compression algorithm on the headphones in order to keep your ears from (bleeding?) ONLY hearing explosions or gunshots. These headphones have been a joy at times and a source of frustration as well. For 110$, your expectations can’t be too crazy, if you were to buy a high end mic and high end headphones, all with with a built in high quality Bluetooth DACs with software support for listening profiles you would expect to spend 10x that amount. So it’s a solid deal, but what your buying is wireless-ness not audio quality or reliability. If I had to buy another Bluetooth headset I’d probably spend a bit more money and try a different brand, with less features, more reliability, and better ootb sound quality but that’s my personal preference. TLDR: 3/5

I returned my turtle beach wireless headset due to mic and connectivity issues and got these instead. I did an unbelievable amount of research on what gaming headset to get as I hate buying a pair I dont end up liking and get stuck with them. There are SO many different gaming headsets nowadays it was not easy picking one to buy. This headset was everything I wanted. To keep it short and sweet, Ill just list the pros and cons... Pros: Quality materials (no cheap creaking plastics) Very comfortable (not too tight or too loose, ear pads very soft) Great sound and dynamic range (fully adjustable in app) Quality mic (fully adjustable and retractable) Independent master volume dial 2nd dial to adjust the game chat and game volume blend. Mic mute button (mic lights up red when muted) Mic monitoring is a HUGE plus. You can enable with the app so you can hear yourself talking through your mic. This helps you talk normally and not yell due to your hearing being sealed off from ambient noise. It also helps equalize the pressure in the ear cups which adds to comfort and minimizes ear fatigue. Without it, your ears can begin to feel weird after a while from being so isolated within the ear cups (at least for me). Great wireless range. Stayed connected even when I left the room with them on. 3.5mm headphone cable included so you can plug them into your controller (in case you prefer wired connection). Rock solid battery life (power button lights up different colors to tell u what percent battery is left). Cons: None so far. Will update review if something comes up.

I’ve been using this headset exclusively for gaming on both my PC and PS4 for a month and a half now. Overall, I’d say it’s a very good headset and a nice upgrade from my Logitech G930 headset. Sound - (5/5) quality sound on both the PC and PS4. Take note that you don’t get true 7.1 surround sound on the console - that’s only capable on the PC. Mic - (4/5) my friends say that I cut out sometimes when I talk. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s too far from my mouth but I haven’t had any other complaints. The mic is also retractable, which is pretty convenient. Aesthetics - (4/5) pretty solid looking headset. They didn’t cheap out on the materials used. However, I’m not a big fan of the strap to adjust the fit on your head. It’ll be a hit or miss for some people. Comfort - (2.5/5) The biggest letdown with this headset. After gaming for at least 3 hours the top of my ears start to hurt. I have a rather average sized head and ears so I was so disappointed to find out that they bothered my ears after prolonged gaming. This could be a make or break for many but I’d advise seeing if other reviewers are having the same issue. Button placement - (3/5) for some reason they placed all the buttons right where your hands would grab when you’re pulling them off your head, so it’s easy to accidentally change up some settings. The mute button is also on the back left side of the headset, so it isn’t easily accessible and will have you clumsily feeling around before you press it. Tip: if you’re using this headset for the first time and cannot hear your fellow gamers in voice chat, you need to roll the wheel on the bottom right side of the headset. There’s a setting that allows you to drown out voice chat and turn up the game’s audio instead. Hope this helped!

So first off, I cant go into much detail with this headset because I returned it after 1-2 hours of use for design choices and personal reasons. Pros: -Sound was amazing compared to my old Logitech G332 headset. -The software was easy to use and allowed me to adjust the EQ and mic levels separate from windows mic levels. -Wireless worked right away, and the buttons on it were just fine for me. -Seemed like a high quality build with good materials -Mic level, not quality, was just as good when pulled out vs pushed in Cons: -Heavy for me -Earpads were uncomfortable with my glasses. After an hour the frame of my glasses was hurting behind my ears. -You would think leather would be better in some cases. Not for me. It was hot, sweaty, and just uncomfortable. -Mic was SUPER loud at full volume. Turned it down to 20% in the software to get a good level. -While switching in between my old logitech G332 and this one, my friend who I talked to the most in discord, said the logitech sounded way better and its no that great of a mic to begin with. -The most annoying thing to me was the dongle. If it were a tiny usb dongle like youd find on a keyboard or mouse, awesome. (Guess I didnt notice it in the pictures) But its a circular dongle with only like 3ish feet of cord. It did have a line in and out for aux cords, but NO USB on it for charging from it. So I had to add the charging cable to my PC case (Would be nice if it could wirelessly charge from the dongle, then the dongle would make sense), (Currently I have a splitter for my speakers and headset so I can switch between without having to go through windows sound control works great due to the long aux cord) but this aux cord left me with more wires than before and a mess in front of my keyboard. -The included aux cable is also very short, mostly for controllers, but you can just use a longer TRRS aux cord if you need. -Also the mic is not spring loaded and would not stay in place. It kept rising up to eye level, over time Im sure itd break in, but since you have to push and pull it in and out, after a year or so I could see it bending and kinking. -I have ears that stick out a little and they were touching the drivers. For the price of $120 at the time I just couldnt bring myself to keep them. If I have to convince myself to keep them then they arent what I was looking for. Going to try the Razor Kaira Pro or the Logitech G935.

I bought these because I was tired of headsets the cheaper headsets always breaking down on me. I figured that if I got a quality headset that wouldnt happen so I conducted a lot of research and ended up with these. They are incredible for gaming. The sound quality is really nice which lets you pinpoint exactly where the noise if coming for. I use it mostly for Apex Legends and can definitely tell a difference in my performance when I have them on. The weight of the headset had me hesitant initially because many reviews I read were saying they were too heavy on your head. I wholeheartedly disagree. They are light enough to not notice them when gaming and heavy enough to feel like the quality you paid for. I think that the reason they feel so light when you wear them is the ski mask head band is incredibly comfortable. These headphone are loud. so loud actually that I do not keep them turned up even close to all the way. When it is turned up it sounds like you are at a loud concert. Even with my volume reduced I have missed my phone ringing right in front of me multiple times. These are perfect if you want to zone out and avoid outside noise. My one contention with these bad boys is that there is no Sidetone. Sidetone is where you can speak into your mic and hear your own voice through the headset. This may not sound like a big deal because you should be able to head yourself just by talking. However, the noise cancellation is so good that its hard to hear myself. Initially it is a very weird experience and I did not like it. I started playing with one ear cup off which was not ideal. Eventually I just lowered my game volume enough to hear my voice. Not having Sidetone is a really annoying feature that I did not think would upset me as much as it did. In the future I would probably not get these again but only in favor of a headset that has sidetone. Other than that these are phenomenal

The headset is just the right weight--it doesnt fall off your head if you dont wear a hat. The batter life and the range are incredible so you arent constantly charging or losing connection as you walk around the house. I have used other brands, but im never changing now unless the quality drops at some point.
