Great value. Ive seen this sell on other sites for no less than$28. The refill alone sells for $14+. Nice jar. I think this is one of the very best performing soaps there is. They say some hate the scent. I really like it. Its sort of a powdery tobacco scent. Very nice If you like the scent, this is a great value. I liked the first one so much I immediately bought two more.

I bought this for my husband after reading user reviews. This product got really great user reviews so we decided to try it. He loves the way that it goes on and shaves. It gives a really good, clean, smooth shave and leaves his skin soft. The only thing that he doesnt like is the scent.

the smell reminds me of Boraxo soap in elementary school. Pretty good soap, but Im liking VDHs Luxury soap for its fantastic smell.

Yee Haw! I’ve been wet shaving since 1967, and this is the best shaving soap I have come across yet! It lathers thick and rich and provides an awesome layer of comfort and protection. If you nick yourself you almost have to try. I just wish I had purchased it sooner. I have several shave soaps that I use in rotation, but I think this is undoubtedly the best. You just gotta give this one a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Great scent, doesnt linger much, the lather is copious, verrrry slippery and quite hydrating -- drys out slower than, for example, Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood. The white ceramic tub is a very nice touch, and has a clean, modern, almost bauhaus, very German design (while the English soaps come in an Olde World, Distinguished-Gentleman kind of container.) This soap really rewards a very light touch on that blade. I swear the blade cuts better with this than with barbasol goop or TooBS soap.
