wanted to get an original product from germany. was a little pricy but its a permanent home for an original product. now I can just buy the soap for the dish. great!

Best Shave Soap on the Market, and has been a stronghold for decades! Truly lives up to its reputation. Lathers great, lubricates wonderfully, keeps your face moisturized after shaving, and leaves that authentic, classic, old Barbershop scent all through the day (without being overpowering). Definitely my favorite shave soap of all time. This one jar will probably last me for at least 6 months, maybe even a year. I shave about 3-4 times per week (YMMV). Ive had for a little over a month now, and the name imprinted on the top is now gone, but lasted for several shaves!

This soap makes me feel like I could chop down a tree with an axe, dig a ditch with a pickaxe, and kill a bear with a hunting knife. Not only does it feel great when it is applied, it gets every whisker to stand at attention and die like a hero. Since I started using this over a run of the mill shave gel, Ive noticed less irritation on my neck and havent had razor burn. Smells great, and leaves you feeling like a manlier man.

This is the finest shaving soap Ive used, period. With a good quality brush you can make mounds of rich, hydrating lather. Ive used it to shave with DEs and cartridge razors, and it has helped reduce irritation. The most remarkable thing about this soap is how much water you can add while maintaining a slick lather. A little goes a long way. With daily use one puck will last nearly a year. The tub is attractive and refillable. Finally, I love the fragrance--it reminds me of an old-time barber shop. I cant recommend it highly enough--my desert island soap for sure!

I have tried a number of shave soaps over the past 8 to 10 years, and had almost forgotten about Tabac. Its just fantastic. For the price, you get a huge cake of very dense soap. Im sure this will last me well over a year without issue. The quality of the soap is great. Lathers very quickly into a thick, slick, luxurious foam. I happen to like the smell. I pick up peat smoke, black pepper, under a big floral hit. The smell doesnt linger long after shaving.
