Tabac Original By Maurer & Wirtz For Men. Shaving Soap Bowl 4.4 Ounces

For starters I have about 18 shave soaps, this is my most recent addition. Thoroughly impressed with the first few shaves. Lathers up beautifully and the scent is awesome. Whats up with Taylor of Old Bond getting so much love? Id rank that about 15th out of my 18 soaps. Dont hesitate, this is definitely going to be a top five for me.

This stuff is great! The lather is very smooth and the smell reminds me of an old time barber shop. I really enjoy shaving with this soap.

Smells great and long lasting! Ive had it nearly a year. I only shave weekly at best, but i havnt ran out yet, and love the ceramic bowl.

This uses a little more water than expected to lather up. But that is not a bad thing! I wouldnt use for travel as the lid does not secure. This is part of my soap rotation.

This soap is the Ive ever tried. Great protection and scent! Will buy again.

Its good but I have had several that are comparable. Not sure what the hype is about.

Cant believe that this has lasted me for a year plus with shaving 5 times a week....all the money i wasted on the $1.29 cans of barbosol. This is some good stuff and the lather is top notch.

Difficult to describe but Tabac smells just like its name suggests - a great tobacconist shop. May sound a bit off-putting but in fact, its a great, rich, evocative aroma. Smoke the occasional good cigar and this lather reminds me of a wonderful combination of tobacco and single-malt and and leather (the good stuff NOT English Leather!) - a mens club. If you hate smoking or smokers or tobacco, its probably not for you. Otherwise, live large - it produces a rich and soft lather that sets up your beard for a great shave and the smell lingers - in a good way.
