> 3 dayAfter we had replacement windows installed it was always a juggling act to put in the air conditioners in the Summer. Trying to balance the air conditioner and a 2X4 while lowering the window, trying to make sure the air conditioner didnt scratch up the window frame etc. This bracket was the solution I was looking for. I was able to make adjustments to the bracket so it fit just right. Now the air conditioner is supported just right.

> 3 dayI really a sturdy product, and very easy to install. Only thing is I wish I can get the shelf arm closer to the outside wall. Because the adjustment arm hole in 5ge last one. The arm still fall from touching the outside wall. I need the pull in my windows air-conditioning more in to the window, so the both outside support arm can touch the outside wall to support the air conditioning. That is why I give it a 4 Stars.

> 3 dayThis bracket is dead-simple to set up and get in the window. However, Ive had quality issues with both units that I ordered. The first unit arrived with part of the main piece bent, which prevented one of the legs being inserted. The replacements right wing, which is one of the pieces that braces against the window frame, has a lock pin which doesnt seem to fit securely into the holes in the wing. The motion described in the manual to adjust the wing causes the lock pin to fall out. The left wing does not have this issue. Im not sure to what degree this affects the sturdiness of the bracket, but Im a little afraid to put an air conditioner on top of it.

> 3 dayLike others have said, if your window isn’t a certain one, it won’t fit. Actually, my window did fit the description, but I could not get the window (that you bring down on top of the ac) to align with the rail in the bracket that the ac unit drops into. When I bring the window down, I have to lean the unit into the house to get the window all the way down on top of it to hold it in. Unfortunately, this tilts the ac unit into the house, which is exactly what you don’t want. I called the company, they called me back, I sent photos and they responded with an email that was not helpful. When I replied, I heard nothing back. I am unfortunately 18 days past my return date, so I am stuck with this thing that is totally useless. My advice is to call the company first and send them pictures of your windows to be sure it will fit. If it will fit, it’s a solid bracket.

> 3 dayI didnt want to pay ninety-nine dollars for this -- but there was no other solution. I must say, when it arrived I was very impressed with the packaging and build quality and my angst over the price dissipated to the point where I could swallow the price. Packaging -- it comes in foam packaging with cutouts for each part so they safely stay separated and undamaged. Build quality -- theres no way this is bending and it looks to be powder coated for a great finish that wont peel or rust easily. Problem: I had to return it though because it wasnt obvious to me that it would add an inch (eyeball measurement) to the overall height of the window sill. This made it impossible for me to fit my AC in the window. Even if I had been able to fit it in, I wasnt sure I liked how the feet were pressed against the bottom edge of my vinyl siding shingle (is that what its called?). I wish there was a way to lower the legs somehow so that I could place them squarely on the top part that is closest to my actual house where it wont be subject to the same pressure. I worried that over time the vinyl siding would crack.

> 3 dayThis mount is a very heavy/sturdy piece of hardware. It adjusted and mounted easily. It definitely made installing my 10,000 BTU air conditioner much simpler. My only complaint is sealing up the gap around the bottom on the ac unit and finding a way to hold the side flaps against the window frame. Overall I am satisfied with the mount and I am considering purchasing another one,

> 3 dayStorm windows are a pain for window ACs. You typically need at least an inch of vertical space. In my case in addition to drilling a piece of wood to the window sill to rest the bracket on, the AC curtain was at least two inches behind the brackets design position for it (thick window molding). As a result there was a 2-3 inch vertical gap below the curtain and 1-2 inch gap below the AC unit itself. Its a fair amount of space to insulate. In the end installation was more work than a pair of bricks in a neighboring room and didnt feel much more secure. I have a bit of buyers remorse after spending $100.

> 3 dayThis ac mount is well made. It was packed well too. My Milgard windows are flush with outside wall. Before purchase, I looked at TopShelf Website. I knew the two feet at base would not touch my wall without a little modification. Each foot is removable and has four holes with rubber cushions inserted. I removed the cushions and attached a piece of primed, painted wood (approx 1 in. pad) using wood screws. I believe the attached wood provides even better distribution of force on the stucco wall. The mount works well and looks good.
