> 3 dayI purchased two of these units for window mounted air conditioners. Assembly was simple and each fit the window opening fairly well. Due to the difference in window frames, perfect adjustment was a bit off but nothing that would cause me to not recommend the product. As we are in the Northwest, we only need air about 3 months a year so being able to remove the units and mounts during Winter is really important. These are great products that secure the window air conditioner without any need to drill holes in your house.

Very solid
> 3 dayProduct is very solid and fits really well into my window frame. Did slightly adjust where the AC lines up with my window so the lip doesn’t exactly align, and some air gaps increased, but that’s because I have an old style house where the side panels don’t line up with where the window slide open. Some rolled up towels were able to seal the gaps. Definitely feel much better about having my window AC above the front of the house, especially if we experience any big earthquakes, I feel like this will actually stay in the window now. Anyways, my product had a slight defect (defects happens even with the best product manufacture design), I reached out to customer service, and they sent me a replacement piece right away. Replacement piece works great. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI have an older house with a mix of windows - some with storm window frames, and newer ones without those frames. This bracket will not work on the windows with storm frames because it is designed with the assumption that the sill and stool will be continuous, but in the case of the storm frame, the bracket cant sit properly on the stool -- the horizontal piece in the front -- because the frame gets in the way. Also, the spring-loaded buttons that are supposed to lock the support arms in place do not work in unison. That is, when one button is engaged in a hole, the other is compressed within the frame and off-center from its corresponding hole. The bracket is fairly sturdy, but I am very disappointed overall in its performance.

> 3 dayExactly what we needed. Our AC was too complicated to use the manufacturers instructions to install in the window. We had to take it out of the casing, screw the casing into the window, attach the brackets to the casing, slide the unit back into the casing, put it all back together, put the rim brackets on, it was a pain. I thought someone else has had to have this problem, and there has to be a solution out there already, did some research and came across this product. One caveat. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAILS. The manufacturer will be contacting you to confirm the type and size of windows you have. Id recommend putting that information in the product description. After three cancellations and a poor review from me, I ran across the buried emails in my inbox. After we connected Ernie was great, and even sent this out overnight for the regular shipping charge because of the misunderstanding. At first I was miffed, because Id already read the requirements and had already measured the windows and such, but on second thought was pleased theyd go to so much trouble to ensure you have the correct type of windows. A lot of people dont read the details. NOW FOR THE PRODUCT ITSELF: This product is VERY STURDY & WELL MADE. EXTREMELY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. SIMPLE TO ADJUST. Two arms rest against the inside of the window frame, the two legs rest against the outside wall and the weight of the unit holds everything sturdily in place. Is absolutely ideal if you have an upstairs window in a rental apartment and cant mar the window with screws and such. For our house, its on the first floor, which Id be hesitant to do if the unit wasnt so heavy. All in all, a WELL THOUGHT OUT PRODUCT. I RECOMMEND IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY - if you have the correct type and size of window.

Greater than one weekAMAZING bracket. I have never owned one before now, but I cannot imagine there being a better product. No tools, assembles in under two minutes, lightweight but STRONG. It sits in the window, you adjust it to fit better and voila, the perfect platform for your A/C unit. The A/C unit slides onto it like a knife through warm butter. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Every penny. Spend the money on quality and innovation.

> 3 dayI didnt want to pay ninety-nine dollars for this -- but there was no other solution. I must say, when it arrived I was very impressed with the packaging and build quality and my angst over the price dissipated to the point where I could swallow the price. Packaging -- it comes in foam packaging with cutouts for each part so they safely stay separated and undamaged. Build quality -- theres no way this is bending and it looks to be powder coated for a great finish that wont peel or rust easily. Problem: I had to return it though because it wasnt obvious to me that it would add an inch (eyeball measurement) to the overall height of the window sill. This made it impossible for me to fit my AC in the window. Even if I had been able to fit it in, I wasnt sure I liked how the feet were pressed against the bottom edge of my vinyl siding shingle (is that what its called?). I wish there was a way to lower the legs somehow so that I could place them squarely on the top part that is closest to my actual house where it wont be subject to the same pressure. I worried that over time the vinyl siding would crack.

> 3 dayOk after many reviews and one really good one about the EZ mount funny enough a gentleman said he ordered both and the other one just worked better, so as this one was less I decided to start with this one. We have metal siding and any hole is forever and no ductwork in a 1952 home so at the high price this was solving what could be very expensive if I had water damage and our very short hot season in Oregon. We have a sill and I just adjusted to have a pitch with the legs. Now I can see how it would not work for some and there was only the position shown and way in front but with no holes I was willing for it to be ugly as a window unit is already ugly. The pegs are not supposed to line up per instructions as pictured I literally laid out the window and bounced and I’m far heavier than my 60lb black and decker 12000 btu AC. I say it’s absolutely worth the risk of not working with 30day returns

> 3 dayI purchased the Top Shelf TBS-2438 air conditioner support to hold a very large unit. Assembly and insulation were easy. It took a few minutes to adjust the position of the supports against the exterior wall, to accommodate the wall thickness. However, you should only need to do this once, unless you plan on disassembling it each time you use it. Since I have vinyl windows I was concerned with damage that could be caused by resting the air conditioner on the window frame and holding it in place with the upper sash. The thickness of the metal and painted finish are better than I expected. And if and it is very sturdy, if you assemble it correctly and make sure it is level. I am pleased with the product and can recommend it.

> 3 dayThe first one of these had a couple small flaws in the paint so I returned and it was replaced promptly. This is amazingly study, quality piece of equipment. Assembly is easy and almost intuitive after a quick look at the directions. I usually use smaller 5000BTU air conditioners and have installed in the past without an outside support. However, with a new 65 pound 10,000 BTU unit, I was uneasy balancing it in the vinyl window. Most of the support units require drilling holes in the outside window sill, but this unit does not, a real plus as I need to remove it in the fall. This was an excellent choice. I felt like I could adjust the unit in the window, knowing it was well supported and safe. Recommend!

> 3 dayIve owned this bracket for over a year now with two installs and one removal and even with the window being in an odd spot due to furniture in the way, Ive been able to install it by myself. After the first setup and test to make sure its sturdy, I was able to pull it out and place it directly back into the window without any changes to the bracket. Definitely glad I didnt cheap out and got a high quality Air Conditioner Bracket which didnt require me to drill into anything especially since my window frame is metal and not wood.
