> 3 dayI got this to pair with an Omada 1750 EAP. While the 1750 by itself was doing a decent job in my 2-story house, there were a few weak spots. Installing the 1350 on the main floor, resolved it all. You will need a controller. In my case, I installed the controller software on a Raspberry Pi 2 that was sitting idle. I was concerned it will be under powered, but it did the job. With about 30 devices including multiple TVs , smart lights, other smart devices, phones and laptops, I never had any hiccups in the last two weeks since Ive had my setup completed. And all my devices receive at least -70 db including the 5GHz ones. On the downside, it may be a bit difficult to install and setup, but once completed, I almost forgot about it, since I had no issues.

> 3 dayI came from unify AP experience, was a nightmare I finally managed to wake up from by installing 2 of these units, and they work like a charm! simple UI, reliable WiFi signal which I used to have a lot of drops with the unify units. So thank you tplink.

> 3 dayWorks great, install went well considering that there isn’t a pass thru for the eithernet. Good thing I already had a multi port router nearby with an open port. And I had to steal a network cable from somewhere else in my house to use with this, so I recommend buying one when buying this wap unit. When the install is completed, you have a 2.4ghz wifi and a 5ghz wifi Our Apple products worked fine with the 5ghz wifi, but my new Kindle Fire 10 11th gen. Would only work with the 2.4 ghz wifi, another little annoyance with the Kindle!

> 3 dayLonger range than the ubiquiti AC-PRO it replaced. Not as good as Ubiquiti is that you have to set up both 2.4 and 5 APs separately. But that can be a benefit with some IoT devices that cant deal with having one mixed mode AP, and want to deal with a dedicated 2.4GHz WiFI AP to connect to.

Greater than one weekIm not sure why a caveman would need a wireless access point, though. If you have a POE switch (see my other reviews for the switch and RJ45 cable maker I recommend), then this item is as plug and play as they come. Once you mount it (three screws into drywall, with drywall anchors), you literally just plug it into your switch. I was prepared to connect with my laptop to get everything set up, but there was no need. There is a green light thats fairly bright, to show it is powered on. I read that this light can be turned off, but as it is not in a bedroom, I didnt actually try this. When it comes to computer things, once you have it working, youre probably better off just leaving it like it is. You could always put a piece of white electrical tape (yes, they make it) over the light if it really, really bugged you. I know that Id likely change some different setting trying to turn the light off if I tried it the right way, so Ill just keep the white electrical tape option open for myself. I had trouble connecting in my garage and back porch. This WAP is halfway between the two, and I get four or five bars in each location. Its doing everything I need it to, and I did zero set up beyond mounting it.

> 3 daySo far so good, I current have the outdoor EAP225 APs for over two years and just add the EAP660 inside. Fully seamless coverage for most of the house and all of the yard. I setup the Omada controller on to my Synology NAS which works perfectly! That wasn’t easy to install but was able to get it up and running. Because of the type of walls in my house I need one more 660 to cover basement. I definitely recommend these products. I’m not sure why others have so much trouble.

> 3 dayUnit was quick and easy to setup. Performance of unit is good. However, Mounting plate assumes hard surface and thus mounting in a ceiling tile is awkward.

> 3 dayOccasionally both SSIDs go down, and it takes a few minutes for them to come back. Quite annoying since this happens during the daytime, especially during times when family watches soccer games. I would not recommend the AP at this time.
