Dont spend your money on this, my internet companys router has a better signal than this, the signal drops and is very weak, in order to configure it it was through the app, the PC program and the cloud service are crap . I bought another of this but on the wall and it doesnt work, it doesnt turn on.

the unit is on the compact side and is easily installed wherever one wants to place it. included in the box is. 1. poe injector and cord 1. mount plate and hardware for drop ceiling panel OR just ceiling/wall mount. 1. eap 225 access point. and papers. it took me a short bit to get thing up and moving. the inabilty to assign fixed i.p. address needs to be fixed. i also find it should see what is trying to connect so one can easier click allow or deny in mac filtering. as of this review all mac access controll must be entered manually unless i am missing something. signal is ok no better than my old netgear 1250. then again i have not mounted this yet on the ceiling. it could also be the odd layout of my apt. who knows. i am going to update this once i fool with it some more so about 2 to 3 months. for now im happy with it.

These access points are amazing.... easy to setup...easy to deploy...honestly the only problem I have ever had with them was a reporting issue that was due to a firmware compatibility. Im writing this review so that hopefully it helps someone in the future. The Omada controller that allows you to manage the entire network was on version 3 and everything is working perfectly so I didnt want to mess with those settings and risk breaking anything but the 4th AP I ordered was not broadcasting....or so I thought! turns out the new APs being shipped out are on version 2.20 while my others were on 2.7. With the new AP in standalone mode not connected to the controller, you can downgrade the AP to 2.7 and once on the compatible firmware it loads into the controller and you can adopt it with no problems which makes life easy!!

This is a new product from this line aiming at wifi6 and hi density. We have installed 2 of them at our main office to test out. For over 1 month stable and good clean speed and signal. We are managing them with an OC200. it has the capability to do 2.5Gb though we only have 1Gb switches at our office. I dont see the need at this time to upgrade the switches.

Very High performance at a very nice pricepoint. This unit outperforms anything priced within twice its price. Very impressed with the management interface and the OC200 box takes it to a new level. So nice not to tie up a PC or server to run the console.

I been using this for a couple days. It was easy setup and it works great? fixed all my Wi-Fi problems. Download the controller app for your phone that’s all you need for great WiFi networking. I turned the radio off in my wireless router. Don’t need it any longer.

I have been using 3 of them for close to a month now and while the signal strength is good and it seems to be holding the connections better than my previous mesh network, I have noticed a that these APs are missing a couple of important features: 1) guest mode, which enables client isolation does not allow whitelisting internal hosts/networks and that can be accessed. So if you are planning on using the client isolation, you will not be able to make any exceptions (printer, WAF error page, etc.) for access to internal networks, and 2) it does not have client steering functionality. It does support 802.11 k/v for seamless roaming, but it only works with devices that support these protocols. Most IoT devices do not, which means that these devices will not be steered to the AP with the strongest signal and instead stick to the one that it was able to connect first, even if it was the weakest. I would expect that a device that is on the higher price range have all of this functionality.

I purchased three of these to cover my 2600 sqft home, and ended up only needing two. Signal penetration through my brick outer walls isnt great, but thats a quality of 5 ghz and no fault of this wifi system. installation and setup was dirt simple. I highly recommend this to expand coverage to your whole home!
