I have a Ubiquiti Unify system and this is a great addition. Good quality picture and flexibility of installation and use. Particularly appreciated with Ubiquiti is that although their NVR system is closed to only Ubiquiti cameras they make available a selectable quality RTSP stream for use by other software. I use ManyCam as well and it works great. Only wish is for an SD card recording option for buffering video for those times that connectivity is lost.

Fantasic quality video. Very easy to setup unifi video, like other ubiquiti softwares it works decently with minor tweaks. Took 10 minutes to setup on Ubuntu Linux with 4 cameras.

I heard good things about this product but its proprietary / unfriendly set up / not compatible with synology. Nope.

Felt in love at glance! ...and ordered two more :-) Im using different Ubiquiti products for many years and now I have their cameras too. Id definitely recommend this product to everyone. Great price/quality ratio.

Put this under an eve in the elements, its seen hard rain, ice, snow and hot weather, works great lasts long time. I was going to take one for the team and put this thing in a harsh environment and if it dies, it dies. Still alive, still works.

Ive only been testing this camera for about a week now, but Im pretty impressed at the image quality and build quality so far. I have also only been testing it indoors in a relatively low light area, but it has performed well. So far Ive noticed the following: Pros: - Build quality seems top notch - Video quality appears very good in the limited testing Ive done - Camera looks professional - PoE capable, so no need for a seperate power supply at the camera - Ubiquiti NVR sofware is free to run on your own server and very capable Cons - No PoE injector included. Why Ubiquiti includes a PoE injector in their access points but doesnt with this camera baffles me. While I plan to get a PoE switch in the near future, I had to take down one of my access points to borrow the PoE to power my camera - IR lights emit a visually red light. It would draw less attention in dark areas if this was not the case. This may be normal, as its the first security camera that Ive owned. So far, Im really liking the performance of the camera and the quality of the video. Im excited to put this into more of a production environment to see how it performs. Maybe Ubiquiti will get with it and include the PoE injector in the future, but otherwise a solid product!

Pros: Great image quality, no monthly subscriptions, higher quality SOHOProsumer equipment, numerous mounting options. Cons: Requires Unifi Protect which is available on several hardware appliances, more technical than some plug and play systems, cameras require ethernet (wired) connection, gear is addictive!

Unifi is the best integrated system on the planet. At the prices they’re charging for their enterprise level gear, you really have to wonder how anyone else is going to make it. Their NVR / Controller is less than $200 and made of aluminum. How?!

Two complaints: 1) Description was not clear that it does not work with third party devices and 2) I returned and Im still waiting for my refund.
