> 3 dayI just have mine temped in at the moment in my office. For my application, Im waiting for the optional ceiling mount to arrive. The motion detection is good. The video is very clear. The night vision illumination is good to 10-12 feet, with some detail lost beyond that distance. I havent tried the two way audio yet. The Unifi Protect software and app work great, notifying me if there is movement in the cameras software adjustable motion zone(s) and storing the video on the Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus.

> 3 dayThis camera has to be the best value available right now. Youll need a power injector or a PoE switch, but for $78 this thing is unbeatable. In my posted image, the far wall is 45 from the camera, its pitch black out and no lights are on in my shop. Fantastic.

> 3 dayInstalled a 24 camera system with NVR for a client 2 years ago when these cameras were hot off the press. NOW UBIQUITI HAS DECIDED TO DROP SUPPORT FOR THE NVR AND WANTS US TO PURCHASE NEW EQUIPMENT. THIS IS A SCAM PRODUCT, DO NOT PURCHASE.

> 3 dayCamera is ok. Proprietary viewing software is vintage 2000. Difficult to use, no book marks, scrolling is basically impossible. Very poor implantation. Almost makes the camera worthless.

> 3 dayUbiquiti gets everything except for the hardware right. The G3 Flex has a streamlined design that can be mounted in multiple ways, a good-looking, unobtrusive casing, on-board webserver and ultra-simple setup for technically inclined people-- even a low power draw (~4W) that will be easily inside the per-port budget of a overloaded PoE switch. Its all just about perfect. So why the low, low rating? I had two units fail in similar ways. My first warning sign was how warm the unit runs for that 4W of draw. Okay, no big deal... except when the first camera went offline after a week. Resetting its power brought it back for a while, then it went offline again (sooner). Repeat w/lots of testing, replacing the switch and cabling, the intervals before failure growing shorter-- finally realizing the camera was at fault. I returned and replaced, and the new camera was fine for a day and half, when it went offline and wouldnt come back up again. Yes, I updated the firmware initially in both cases. Yes I tried factory reset. Yes I swapped cables, ports, switches. Yes I left it unplugged for a while to cool off. Yes, I did all the diagnostics. I didnt try their management software, but if its like their WiFi package, itll be solid and well-supported. Theres even a cloud offering and dedicated app to match. And no need to use the app just to see the onboard view. Excellent. If only they units didnt fail. I should have been suspicious of such a great camera at such a low price, but I was hoping... Bad hardware and a waste of my time. Both bad cameras were manufactured in the same month but different dates. Maybe a bad month at the factory? But considering some similar reviews, Im not willing to try a third time. Skip.

> 3 dayUbiquiti cameras are average at best. These are at least priced better than most of their cameras. They are a bit strange to mount but do the job.

> 3 dayThe quality of this is really good.. far better than the ARLO2 Pro cameras and Ring HD cameras. That said, the night vision is not that great. Truth be told I dont have a light that turns on to help either, nor did I expect night vision to be of much use. The motion detection is wonky. It works.. maybe too good. Most mornings I wake up to over 100 emails of motion detection, due to wind and a plant that sometimes ends up in frame. I even set up custom zones, but it seems to ignore those. That is more likely the software though, not the camera, as the motion detection zones is controlled by the software itself, not hardware in the camera.

> 3 dayI love the video. Since I have had this cam I have trued may of my co-workers to this. The issue that I am having with this is that it keeps disconnecting and reconnected within one min. I have replaced cables, move it to a different POE port and it still continues. No help from support.
