A nice upgrade from the aging UVC Micro, and cheaper than most of the Unifi cameras at only $75-$80. Excellent video quality and the free Unifi NVR software provides great options for settings, motion detection customization, etc. PoE supported so no wifi needed, or multiple cables running to the mounted location. 2 axis of motion, though I wish it could point further down. Also really nice that there is a recessed ceiling mount option to hide it further up in the ceiling when mounted upside down (sold separately, but only $10). I only wish it had audio talkback like the Micro did, so I could yell stuff at people standing at my front door. But honestly thats just a gimmicky feature that I never really used.

Easy install and adoption.

Installed a 24 camera system with NVR for a client 2 years ago when these cameras were hot off the press. NOW UBIQUITI HAS DECIDED TO DROP SUPPORT FOR THE NVR AND WANTS US TO PURCHASE NEW EQUIPMENT. THIS IS A SCAM PRODUCT, DO NOT PURCHASE.

I have a Ubiquiti Unify system and this is a great addition. Good quality picture and flexibility of installation and use. Particularly appreciated with Ubiquiti is that although their NVR system is closed to only Ubiquiti cameras they make available a selectable quality RTSP stream for use by other software. I use ManyCam as well and it works great. Only wish is for an SD card recording option for buffering video for those times that connectivity is lost.

Works really well in the unified ecosystem

Good bang for the buck, great for semi portable use (wherever you can run a ethernet cable to). Sits nicely on a desk if you dont want to perma mount it. The top cab be pointed up down left right. Does not include a PoE adapter, requires 802af poe. Lots of mounting options included.

Unifi is the best integrated system on the planet. At the prices they’re charging for their enterprise level gear, you really have to wonder how anyone else is going to make it. Their NVR / Controller is less than $200 and made of aluminum. How?!

Camera didnt last 1 month. I need this replaced or I will simply return it. Need a response today/tomorrow as it must/will be returned on the 29th.
