> 3 daysure there are 20 others that can work, I like and use ubiquiti products, robust, yes a learning curve, dont always play nice with others but as a system, perfect, Had 2 cams talking to my win 10 PC in less than 15 minutes.. phone app works on my local network.

> 3 dayPros: Great image quality, no monthly subscriptions, higher quality SOHOProsumer equipment, numerous mounting options. Cons: Requires Unifi Protect which is available on several hardware appliances, more technical than some plug and play systems, cameras require ethernet (wired) connection, gear is addictive!

> 3 dayEven with the latest firmware and multiple setting updates, video quality is fair at best. Would not recommend.

> 3 dayI only have one of these cameras so far but its working great. I bought the recessed mount so only the lens section of the camera is visible. I can still fully spin and angle the lens and night vision isnt effected. In regards to motion detection, I really with there was some AI built-in to allow for person/animal/object detection to help eliminate false positives. This really applies more to the UniFi Protect controller than to the camera itself, but it is worth noting because I suspect most people will use the camera with UniFi Protect. The software is constantly seeing updates so Im hopefully that these features will be added soon.

> 3 dayThis under $100 camera is definitely not IP anything weather rated but I have it mounted on a redwood 2/4 and on the outdoors on the ground mount straight up. No issues yet after 5 months of operation. The night vision LEDs is good up to about 35 feet. I have notices that night vision with LEDs (IR) off is better for over 35 feet viewing. The resolution is good enough to read California standard License plates up to 30 feet in day light in motion of not (not readable in darkness). The audio is clear and sensitive up to 80 feet of normal speech level. Highly recommended but dont mount it on the ground like I do because it might void the warranty. The company support which is just okay (better than nothing but could be improved) is online chat and or email. In my use case, all the setting are default and at highest bit rate and resolution, but with HDR disabled. HDR does not improve overall quality enough and in low light pulsates the video.

Greater than one weekI really cant say anything bad about this camera. Pretty much plug and play with my cloud key gen 2+. Great picture, great night vision and great sound recording. I am using it as an indoor camera. No issues using unifi protect on Android phone or my Nvidia shield.
