Reliable, it has status led lights so you know you are connected, and it is 10/100/1000 Mbs depending on your service. plus it matches the color of my MacBook Pro. No software needed is a basic plug and play. I recommend the UGREEN USB C Ethernet adapter for any usb c devices that can use wired internet for maximum speeds and reliability.
