UV-Blocker Compact Sun Protection UV Umbrella Auto Open Auto Close Double Vented Canopy Windproof Sun Umbrella UV Protection 55+ UPF

This is the only UV blocker/cooling umbrella I have tried and I wasnt sure what to expect. It seems to make a slight difference when using it to walk outdoors in Arizona on a 110 degree summer day. It seemed to allow me to walk for 10 minutes more than usual. I have a lot of trouble with the heat so maybe the umbrella would seem more effective to someone else. One caution for everyone--the weight of this umbrella is all in the center rod/handle and it makes it heavier to hold as well as hard to balance. It takes more force to hold it up and if there is any wind stronger than a breeze, keeping the umbrella upright will become even harder due to the unbalanced weight of the construction. Also, while the shorter rod/handle of the umbrella means it folds as a compact size, it also means you almost have to have your arm slightly elevated to hold the umbrella above your head.

This umbrella works well blocking out the sun but it already broke and I can’t open,close, or return it. Should have lasted longer for $50.

My wife has been unsuccessfully looking for a good sun-umbrella for a long while...finally 2 years ago we brought our first uv-blocker travel umbrella: we really appreciated it!!! The travel umbrella, used in sunny and rainy days, is still perfect!!! Recently we received 2 compact: top quality confirmed! My wife uses to keep one inside her bag. In our opinion the uv-blocker umbrellas are the best available, effective and longlasting.

I like everything about this product. My dermatologist warned me to stay out of the sun since I have had many spots removed. Since I teach in Texas and take the students outside daily, I decided to upgrade from my regular umbrella and get something better. I call it my SUNBRELLA. Positives: blocks out TONS of light, one button to open and close, folds up small, big when opened, keeps you cooler, quality fabric. Negatives: the wind flips it inside out. I recommend this particular sunbrella to anyone who needs protection from the sun or wants to stay cooler from heat.

I guess someone liked my first one of these so much that they stole it. So I bought another. It is just what I want. It folds up pretty small and opens easily. I live in a place where skin cancer is a real danger so I use this a lot. I recommend it!

I love that the umbrella provides adequate protection from the sun and that it really does keep you cooler on hotter days. However, I have 3 different types of the UV blocker umbrellas and not a SINGLE ONE is wind proof. This is extremely cumbersome since most days seem to have enough wind to constantly turn the umbrella inside out.

This umbrella is very well made. It was well worth the price. I push a button to open & close it. When it was 95 degrees here, walking on sidewalk was miserable & I decided to try this. I wasnt sure about carrying an umbrella in the sun. But its this silver gray reflective color & high quality, so if anyone looks at me, they actually want one. Prior to this purchase, Id bought a cheaper one & could literally not close the thing. I highly recommend & I purchased this product, wasnt a gift.

The product details said it is 9.5 ounces, but the product is actually 15 ounces. Besides, it said it will bring the temperature down by 15 degrees, but it actually cant. I think it is only a few degrees.

I am so glad I bought this umbrella for myself. I walk at work 2-3 times a day and its quite sunny out. We havent had very hot weather yet this season, but Im confident that when we do, Ill still be able to get my steps in because of this umbrella. I love it. Its sturdy and keeps the sun off of my entire upper body. I have not been overheated once since using this umbrella. I highly recommend it if you walk everyday.
