Glad I bought this. I walk every day and in the hot Georgia sun wearing a hat just isn’t enough. This solar protection umbrella is really all it says it is.

This UV-Blocker Umbrella really helps bring down the temperature and blocks exposure to the sun. I used to use a dark denim umbrella for sun protection, but this silver material is superior. I noticed that I was still getting sun damage, even though dark denim does not allow much sunlight through the fabric. This silver material is even better. No sun can penetrate at all. I highly recommend!

THis umbrella is so well made that its difficult to close after using it; the joints are so tight. I also have to hold down one edge during windy days so it wont turn inside out. I bought a valcro strip to wrap around the closed umbrella so I could carry it in my bag; the valcro strip attached to the umbrella is too short. However, it does a very good job in protecting me from the sun. I use it during the hot , sunny afternoons while walking my dog.

I didnt realize the logo was so big. I bought it for ATLANTIS but returned it and kept the other one Id purchased that didnt have an logo emblazoned across it. Nice quality though

The plus, is that it came earlier than expected. On day two of use, I noticed that the frame of the umbrella created tiny holes on the material. You could see them on the outer fabric. I believe that the fabric used is very delicate and the rod-like framework is sharp and creates these tiny holes in the material. I believe it has everything to do with the way the umbrella opens and closes. It literally shots it open and close with the button. I have own many umbrella before. This one is the first to open and close so quick (forces the frame open/close while pressing through the material). The shade is awesome even in high temperatures (105 degrees in dry heat). It makes it more bearable to walk in the heat! I am sad that this really didnt work out as I thought it would. Just wish the material was thicker and the rods not so sharp! That is why I am returning this umbrella within 1 week of purchase.

Protects from sun and heat, perfect size, and looks great too. I am a redhead who can now walk across the sand to the water or in an open field where before I would have to hide in the shadows. The only reason I cant give this wonderful product five stars is that while it is easy to open it is very hard to close.

This umbrella works well blocking out the sun but it already broke and I can’t open,close, or return it. Should have lasted longer for $50.

Love this umbrella! My daily walks are an important part of my exercise program, but with triple digits and blazing sun, Ive had to miss a lot of them this summer. However, with this umbrella, I can now even take a walk at noon, which I just did today. There is a significant, palpable difference in the heat underneath; the mechanism to open and close works perfectly; its not too heavy (only about 1 lb.). I consider this one of the best purchases that Ive made in a long time and look forward to lots of healthy walks this summer.

I just came from the Northern Trust Open in the Riviera Golf Course and I used this umbrella when it started getting very sunny and hot. I shaded myself and my daughter the whole day and even if it was windy it held up just fine and did not invert. PROS: 1. Ultra portable - It is so small I actually put in my pants pocket. 2. Blocks the Sun - It does not let the heat through and kept me cool and protected from the damaging UV. 3. Durable - The build construction is very solid and does not look or feel cheap. 4. Quick open - Just press the button and its open. To close press the button and then push it down into the handle. CONS: 1. Cant think of anything. SUMMARY: It is a well made umbrella that is both portable and functional. Highly recommended.

Havent tried this in super windy conditions, but seems like a well made umbrella. Folds up nicely so easy to store and take or leave in your car. I really dont care for the sun (or heat) much anymore, and dont like to have it beating down on me so very happy with purchase. Thanks!
