> 3 dayMe encanta. Te da una verdadera cobertura del sol, no traspasa el calor y te mantiene fresca. Son fuerte las varillas del paraguas pero me gustaría que fueran un poco más para que resista la fuerza del viento cuando es más intenso. Pero en general es fabulosa.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella works well blocking out the sun but it already broke and I can’t open, close, or return it. Should have lasted longer for $50.

> 3 dayIts very short while folded up -- about 10 3/4 inches. But rather round at about 3 1/2 inches. Stubby Compact... but it will take up some room for those hoping to put it in their bag or purse. I keep mine in a water bottle sleeve on my LowePro photography belt and use it regularly in Big Cypress preserve in South Florida. If ever there was a test of the sun blocking ability of an umbrella, its in Big Cypress in the summer months. This one performs great and is tough enough to be pushed through thick growth from time to time.

Greater than one weekThis umbrella does a good job of protecting me from the sun, but it didnt last me very long. This only lasted me four months, and it wasnt even used in windy weather. The limbs are made out of plastic, so instead of bending like my old one with metal did it suddenly broke. I admit that I am a daily user, but my old slightly cheaper umbrella lasted way longer in daily use and harsh winds, and thats for over a year at least. I live in Arizona, and its been crazy hot and thats about it, but it broke just like that. The very first one I purchased had to be returned within a couple days of having it because the material came unattached from the limb. I had believed that one to just be defective. I really wish it was more durable, because I really thought it was a good umbrella. While I do like it, I think its a bit too expensive to spend money on a new one every four months, so I am not sure if I will go back to it.

> 3 dayI purchased this about 11 months ago and havent used it that much as this is Southern California. Today it broke. I contacted the company and they will replace it as it has been less than one year. It is a good size, great for sun protection, and I like the automatic spring which opens the umbrella. It does take two hands to close it however.

> 3 dayI have very fair skin and live in Hawaii so I normally not only wear sunscreen every day but also carry around a compact umbrella - useful for both sun and rain. I finally decided to splurge though and get myself something with real UV protection and Ive been very happy with this product. The double layer and UV coating make the umbrella slightly heavier and bulkier than your average compact but the shade you get out of it is well worth the extra effort. It is several degrees cooler in its shade, not to mention that Im in no danger of getting sunburned. The vents also do a pretty good job allowing you to hold the umbrella steady even when its a little gusty although there are limits, of course.

> 3 dayI have to stand in direct sunlight for about an hour a day in Arizona. Ive tried using a regular rain umbrella to get away from direct sunlight but it just wasnt doing the job. I recently bought and tried the UV umbrella and what a difference! It definitely cuts the intensity of the sunlight and creates shade. Standing in the sun, at 105 degrees plus, there is a world of difference between the UV umbrella and a rain umbrella. It takes a little effort to fold it enough to put back in its sleeve but Im not using it for travel.

Greater than one weekI’ve had this uv umbrella for almost 4yrs now. I use this umbrella almost daily during the summer. I love how it feels noticeably cooler under the umbrella when it’s really sunny and hot outside. This has gone with me to Jamaica, Mexico, and Florida. I wouldn’t travel without it. It’s compact enough for me to easily carry along in a purse. It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s very much worth the price. Buy it!

> 3 dayGreat umbrella. A bit pricey, but you get a good product. I walk or run every day in Southern California where it’s sunny and warm all summer. I use the umbrella to keep the sun off me and keep cooler. I even go for long runs with it. It’s a little heavy for travel if you’re traveling as light as possible. It’s also sturdy, and doesn’t turn inside out easily. I’m happy I got it.
