This safe is handy for home or travel. It seems very sturdy and the mechanism works flawlessly. There is adequate room for my two semi autos (Walther 22 & Ruger LCP as well as extra mags). I wish the side clasps didnt have to be engaged to operate the digital latch. This would be time consuming in an emergency. Overall a very nice safe.

I got the Grey Lifepod 2.0 for my dad for Fathers day. I purchased the pluck foam accessories additionally, which came with 2 pluck foam sheets. I messed up the first one and the second one I nailed. The Taurus only came with a cardboard box and it has seen better days after 30 years. I originally had the first Lifepod (Colion Noir Edition), but this pistol was larger than the original lifepod dimensions. So I purchased this because it was bigger. However, I was please to see upgrades like an LED light and accessories like a Removable Tray and a Steel Security Cable. The only con is its totally able to be broken into. However, for a car or travel situation its pretty sweet. The cable is strong and the case is pretty hardened. So if someone tries to steal it will take some time, which it in itself is a deterrent from the average B&E (breaking and entering). The code can be up to 6 digits. The TouchPad for the passcode is soft and responsive to light touches. Programming the code takes about a minute and the instructions are detailed but not confusing. After purchasing, you can register the Lifepod to their website and get an extra year of warranty. The warranty is 3 years from original purchase date after registering. The customer service/support is very good. They process very quickly, the real wait is only transit by USPS. Its minimal, and limited only by ones imagination.

The saying, you get what you pay for is true. The knock off security cases that are cheaper are just that.... cheaper. Do not skimp on something as important as this box. So, I wanted it for a trip I was taking and wanted to be sure to secure items. I bought and and it programmed in under a minute once I installed the 9 volt battery. I openned it and closed it and went back and forth, the interior light works well too which would be helpful in the dark. The case came with everything promised in the description. I love the removable fitted foam in layers that allow for two level securing. The hard mount and tethers that fit on the top level still left enough space for full sized G19 on the bottom and spare magazine. I did not get the biometric as I thought it was not absolutely necessary. A multi digit code is more than sufficient to secure it. The top of the line comes with every option or you can buy it separately. Bottom line is that we need to protect things well and this does that and it is worth the price. I will be buying one as a gift. The supplied security lanyard works just as promised. You can loop it around the seat frame in your vehicle and still retrieve your case. It fits in two metal reinforced locations

Just used it to travel and it works great. The buttons are easy, and the fingerprint reader has been very easy to program multiple prints, and quite reliable and easy to use. I love how they even respond to Lockpicking Lawyer’s concern over the previous model and immediately released a fix for it. I only wish they’d start making these not in china. What about Taiwan? Vietnam? Indonesia? Mexico even? A nation with proper trade agreements and respects our laws? I dock 1 star due to the association with china.
