> 3 dayOverall quality of the LifePod 2.0 is Five Stars. My knocking down to Four Stars is because I thought I could place a firearm I have, which is too long for the LifePod, in the base foam and then place the tray inside to organize other items. The pluck foam layer is ~11/16” (17.5mm) thick and the base foam layer is ~1/8” (3mm). Items in the base cannot be thicker than ~13/16” (20.6mm) and will not have a foam layer to the bottom of the case to enable the use of the organizer tray as well. I like the product too much to return, so I just have to adjust my use and likely reconfigure each time I use it, but the fact it can be reconfigured for different uses and comes with various foam inserts, is a plus. It also would be nice if the handle was not a separate purchase item. Even the lanyard style included in the LifePod would be acceptable. Check all your measurements and do your math when determine if what you want it to hold will in fact be held by the LifePod 2.0.

> 3 dayIt does what it is advertised to do. Simply locks up your gun. But for the price you can get better all metal options. This is advertised as being weather proof, so it has side clasps to securely close. The clasps get in the way a vast majority of the time. If you are just using the safe in the house or car where you want somewhat quick and quiet access now you have these flapping clasps in the way. I dont reccomend the lifepod to my friends looking for a small safe.

> 3 dayPurchased this as a gift and my husband loved it! It’s very sturdy and durable. Could definitely fit two firearms but we currently have one in the case alone with multiple clips. The buttons are touch sensitive and are very responsive. No need to double tap. The finger print scanner is also very responsive and accurate as well.

> 3 dayThe set up for this travel case was easy thanks to the instructions provided, however, this thing had failed me numerous times. I originally purchased this gun for work and use this travel case to secure my off-duty weapon when I have to switch out to my service weapon. I went to my assigned beat and the lifepod would not wake up for me to unlock and switch weapons. The worse thing about this is that it is used to market itself as a nightstand case to secure weapons. If I were you, keep your weapon unlocked or else youll be fumbling around trying to get this thing to work when seconds count.

Greater than one week(TL;DR - Double stacks too big for accessory tray and extra mags.) If youre going to buy this, do not buy the deluxe addition if you have a Glock 19. Even though its the 2.0 and its larger, you cannot fit the tray in with extra mags. It was pointless to get the extra accessories when you cant use them. I have the pluck foam and one thin layer of foam below (to protect your pistol from rubbing on the case) that it came with. All in all, its nicely constructed, but it doesnt like Glocks bulky brick like design. Ill see if I can fit another firearm inside, but I have a feeling it will be the same issue if its a double stack.

> 3 dayI picked this up to use when traveling and home on nightstand to secure. However, allowing quick access if needed. The quality appears to be made well.

> 3 dayThis case is awesome, I would recommend this case to anyone who wants to keep an extra firearm in their automobile. You could also use this case for traveling on the plane.

> 3 dayThis gun safe from Vaultek does what it says - more space than the 1.0 but not a ton, so it fits my M&P shield with a flashlight and spare magazine, and I could fit as many as 8 extra magazines in the bottom layer or some other accessories. I really like the little included shelf to separate the top and bottom halves of the interior. It is very convenient to be able to use two layers or leave it out for a wider firearm. Pluck foam or a lid organizer have to be purchased separately if you get a normal edition, but they give you some other thin foam sheets that worked for me. The light is a nice touch, and it provides just enough light to help if youre really in the dark. The bulb shines from the front keypad and back. Itll illuminate whatever is in the very front of the storage space but not much further back so dont expect a full vies of safes contents, especially if you have something right up front. It has these plastic latches on the sides that I think are meant to keep the waterproof o ring compressed, but it also means the case cant be opened from inside a drawer or sitting on a table without picking it up and undoing the very loud latches on its sides, which are hard to open with one hand. It stays closed, but good luck opening this quickly or quietly in an emergency. It also cant be opened if stored somewhere without adequate space on the sides to open those latches, so you should account for this when deciding where to store it. There doesnt appear to be a good way to store it with these latches undone, even if locked, because they just kind of hang off the sides, but it looks like they can be unscrewed when the latch is open so you could fully remove them. Also, I didnt realize the whole case is a pretty light feeling plastic (but pretty solid when the whole thing is closed up), and the latch is just a metal loop held in with four tiny screws. Id compare this to an actual gun safe the way Id compare the lock on my bathroom door to the lock on my front door. Its a privacy box, not a safe. This is for making sure kids dont accidentally stumble across your firearms, and in that way it works. It would also be great for bringing a handgun or two to the range if you need to keep them locked up while driving. But a minute or two with a regular hammer and an adolescent could smash the whole box to bits without much effort and get to the firearm inside. I would be really nervous to drop this on the pavement. Ultimately any consumer safe wont hold up to a determined attacker, so just know what youre getting here. If you want a relatively safe little box you can use to organize your firearms, place it in your nightstand and know the kids wont be able to easily pop it open, this might be perfect for you. Its really expensive for what youre getting. Ive bought $20 lock boxes that feel more secure but those dont have code access. For the most part, it does what I need. Still, would have liked something with a little more strength to it for what I paid. Update: After a little testing and looking through the manual more, it is clear the side latches are necessary to close the box. If youre using any kind of compression foam, including the kind of comes with, it puts enough pressure on the latch that it can actually keep the box from locking and unlocking properly, so while they are technically removable, dont remove them. For what it is, it does the job and is compact enough to fit in a narrow desk drawer without issue but understand that theres no getting around the need to pick the box up and unlatch it when opening.

> 3 dayThis is advertised incredibly well, it looks great and comes in a nice packaging but that’s not what I was hoping for when I bought this product. I was hoping for something that was decently secure. When I received the product I was surprised at how cheap it felt in my hands. After looking at it I realized anyone can easily open up the “safe” within minutes using a butter knife. If you are looking for something secure this is not the product you want.
