> 3 dayPretty good product but can tell it wouldn’t be too hard to break into if someone wanted too. Overall would be 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper

> 3 dayHandle is a great/necessary addition, lid organizer is a plus. Foam serves its purpose; FYI use an exacto blade for precise cutting of pluck foam or you’ll have rough edges from plucking.

> 3 dayI did read some reviews of it not working correctly. I ensured that I tested it based on some of the negative reviews but mine worked great. Just note that with 2 guns unloaded and 4 clips, it is a little harder to close. So you will need to push down to ensure it locks but no problems opening

> 3 dayOverall quality of the LifePod 2.0 is Five Stars. My knocking down to Four Stars is because I thought I could place a firearm I have, which is too long for the LifePod, in the base foam and then place the tray inside to organize other items. The pluck foam layer is ~11/16” (17.5mm) thick and the base foam layer is ~1/8” (3mm). Items in the base cannot be thicker than ~13/16” (20.6mm) and will not have a foam layer to the bottom of the case to enable the use of the organizer tray as well. I like the product too much to return, so I just have to adjust my use and likely reconfigure each time I use it, but the fact it can be reconfigured for different uses and comes with various foam inserts, is a plus. It also would be nice if the handle was not a separate purchase item. Even the lanyard style included in the LifePod would be acceptable. Check all your measurements and do your math when determine if what you want it to hold will in fact be held by the LifePod 2.0.

Greater than one weekI wasn’t expecting Fort Knox. A portable plastic gun box is only going to be able to be so secure. But you wanted to be able to resist forced entry attempts at least for a few minutes. And while I suspect a crow bar would pop the lid up pretty quickly, there is no need because the hinge is exposed. Using either a hinge removal tool which are easily had or even a nail and something to hammer it with, you can pop the hinge out in seconds and open the box. I do like the way you can disable the easily pickable mechanical lock which is typically the Achilles’ heel of a safe of this type. In this case however, the heel is the hinge. This makes this nothing more than a waterproof box which you can buy for significantly less money.

> 3 dayJust about perfect. This safe holds my Glock 20 and two magazines and nothing more. But that’s enough for me. The fingerprint ID Seems to work pretty well. But you will need to run it many times with your same finger because the technology is not great. I almost fine that it’s consistently faster or as fast to just punch in the code itself. Otherwise it seems very well-made and I like the light inside. I would highly recommend this

Greater than one weekThis design is awesome. this is definitely one of those items that will keep honest and some dishonest people honest. I dont know how durable the security cable is but it will take bolt cutters for a real dishonest person to steal this. My advice to others is make a code longer then 4 digits. I have a couple reasons for this. 1. If someone (a dishonest person they does research) attempts to open the case, they will enter the default code of 1,2,3,4. Unfortunately, and I have no ideas on how to fix this, the device will beep or blink and let them know that was the wrong code. It also lets them know your code is 4 digits long. My code is 7 digits and it lets me know on the 7th digit if the code is wrong. 2. As you can see there are 4 digits to work with to create a code. If you have a 4 digit code the number of possibilities is 4x4x4x4 or 256. Lets say your password is 4,3,4,3 and they start attempting to crack it with 1,1,1,1; then 1,1,1,2 and so on. Even with a 4 minute time out after 6 failures, they can crack your code in less then 3 hours if they are very focused. A 5 digit code 4,3,4,3,4 changes that to 12+ hours. (now its 4x4x4x4x4 or 1024 possibilities. a 6 digit code (4096 possibilities) makes it 45+ hours. 7 digits...(16384) 182+ hours. 8 digits (65536) 728 hours. Keep in mind if they get your code half way through they attempts then the hours are cut is half. Now on to my complaint. My only issue is not with the Lifepod 2.0. but with advertising. On the Vaultek Lifepod 2.0 site there is images of a Lifepod 2.0 on a beach with a surfboard. The first image shows the Lifepod 2.0 being taken out of a backpack. The second image shows the Lifepod 2.0 open on the beach with the tray removed. The tray is fine with all the tools tied to it. My issue is with what was under the tray. This image implies you can have a compact gun and a gopro under the tray. I have a gopro hero 9 and one of the smallest micro 9mm hand guns. neither will fit in the lifepod under the tray. My gun will fit in the tray and I can close the lid but it is tight. I have the Colion Noir version which includes a leather card holder. But I figure if it fill it with cards the lid will not close with the gun in the tray. The gopro will NOT fit in the Lifepod with the tray. My only solution for that is to cut a hole in the tray and put the go pro in the bottom where the hole in the tray will be. When I am finished with my design I will include a picture. Again... the Lifepod 2.0 is well designed and seems perfect for my plans. If you purchase one please use a 6, 7, or 8 digit code. Thanks

> 3 dayI got this safe so i could keep my gun safe in the car. A few months after my trip I lost the key at home (couldnt find it anywhere. and the pin code i set wasnt working. I wanted my Walther back more than this safe. I was going to just break it as the plastic looks weak but that lock cylinder is even weaker. I took my cordless drill with a cheapass drill bit and less than 25% battery and drilled out the lock in ~5 seconds. Thats right the cylinder has zero drill protection and I had recovered my gun. Also just for fun after i had my gun out of the safe i closed it and it locked again (it still refused to allow me to reprogram after the drill opened it so i pushed the drill all the way past the cylinder in another 5 seconds and had just a hole. I wish i never bought this safe its a joke. Its like trying to protect whats important with a wet paper bag. Oh well im out the money for the safe but at lesson learned at least I didint lose my gun due to theft thining this safe was safe.

> 3 dayNOT the foam for the 2.0 lifepod. Vaulttek mislabeled these. These are the foam for 1.0 lifepod, which are much smaller
