I have the small vertion and my g19w/red dot doesnt fit. This one is perfect not just the G19 but my 43 with two mags too!!!!

I purchased 2 different VAULTEK LifePod cases to keep my handguns safe in my car. After a slight frustration (only slight) in setting them up I have found them super easy to access. And at the same time I feel much better about having them in my car. You can use you code to get in or the included keys. Theres plenty of room for magazines inside too. The internal foam can be adjusted or not used. I travel through states who are very strict and using this lock box out of arms reach satisifys the ATFs description of allowed travel. (Unloaded of course).

Fits perfectly in car or under bedside.

Much easier to carry. Looks nice and should have been included.

Pros: I can store weapons safely. It fits my CCW inside my Tier 1 holster w/extra mag. Cons: It is big. Gen 2 is bigger than Gen 1. Overall, worth the investment. I ended up enjoying it so much I bought a second for my other vehicle. Highly recommend it for those that frequently travel; ESPECIALLY to or through freedom restricted states. Remember the motto: Buy once, cry once because I am too poor to keep buying and trying.

Safe hasnt really worked right since I got it. Had to leave it plugged in for days to charge then it died the next day. Now it wont even lock with just the key let alone turn on. Not sure if I got a faulty unit or what but not reliable and wouldnt recommend.

Disappointed on the capacity of the Life Pod 2. I am trying to fit two subcompacts. A Hellcat and a Glock 43x MOS. There is no way the safe will hold both guns with mounted optics imbedded in the pluck foam. Only alternative is to have one pistol with a spare magazine in the bottom compartment and second pistol on the removable tray. Which leaves not much space left for other items aside from credit cards and cash. The safe needs to be made two more inches in width and height. Another inch in depth to accommodate subcompacts.
