Cant possibly speak highly enough - dont waste time with cheap knock offs. This is the real deal - perfectly manufactured, and probably strong enough to drop a boulder on it with no deformation. Highly recommend the lid organizer - very useful, as well as the carry handle, and the sling bag that Vaultek makes fits the safe perfectly. Do be sure of one thing - you must use both side latches before locking - please dont tax the locking mechanism motor by not clamping the lid before locking, and keep it clamped before unlocking. That is absolutely essential Appears to be fully waterproof, based on the seals - absolutely fantastic feature. Can fit a full sized double stack pistol, plus two additional magazines. Do buy the pluck foam, so that sidearm is secure in the safe. Do be careful peeling off the back of the Velcro that adheres to the lid, which the lid organizer Velcros onto - its powerful adhesive, and for me, got stuck to itself, and could not be pulled apart. I adhered my organizer with double sided tape - cant remove it, but its fine that way too. Do buy a lithium 9-volt battery - will last much longer than an alkaline battery. Vaulteks quality is world class - spend the extra money and get this. Its worth it when you need gear that is absolutely reliable and can be trusted with your life, which is literally what this safe is for.

Wow! This is an amazing product! Easy to use/configure, comes with a security cable that is super easy to attach to just about anything... TONS of room inside, and (with this version) has so many accessory pockets inside I doubt I can every utilize every single thing :D I bought this mainly for my vehicle to keep things securely, and its doing just that. I feel very confident that what I leave in my vehicle will be there when I get back!

I like the design and function. Please disclose in the description that it is made in CHINA. I was under the impression that it was made in the USA.

Just about perfect. This safe holds my Glock 20 and two magazines and nothing more. But that’s enough for me. The fingerprint ID Seems to work pretty well. But you will need to run it many times with your same finger because the technology is not great. I almost fine that it’s consistently faster or as fast to just punch in the code itself. Otherwise it seems very well-made and I like the light inside. I would highly recommend this

Read a lot of reviews before purchasing. A lot of mixed reviews, Here’s mine. This is not a safe for multiple firearms. It keeps my EDC, extra magazines, and two boxes of ammo. I didn’t find use for the storage rack that came with it but did buy the rumble kit because it’ll better serve me. Could/should it had been included? It would’ve been nice but that’s marketing and sales for you. Overall happy with my purchase, has a clean look and the audible lock and unlock is simple piece of mind
