Im quite fond of the Vornado brand. They try and make a fan at all price points. Unfortunately, as the fans get cheaper, so does the quality. This short review focuses on the 660. At $100, its pricey. This is not a cheap fan (Air Circulator), but worth it at this price point. The shiny plastic casing is nice, but a dust and finger magnet. The fan has 4 levels. high turbo ( 57-56 watts ) @ 584 CFM, with a manufacture rated 54db high ( 45 watts ) medium ( 36 watts ) low ( 30 watts ) @ 257 CFM, with a manufacturer rated 35db. Fan blade is measured at 10.14 inches. The brushless motor is quite beefy, yet efficient. On the lowest setting, you can barely hear the fan, yet it moves a nice stream of air. For those of you who can not install a ceiling fan, this works just as good. The fan is not quiet on high, yet it does move quite a bit of air around. The control layout on top is nice with a beep on every button push. This is great for when its dark. The base is sturdy, and having the adjustable chrome glide lets you tilt the fan a full 90 degrees, helps you aim were you want the air to go. Most complaints are directed at when you first turn on the fan. When the fan is off, and you turn it on, it defaults on high (turbo). I personally do not care for this, but it is not a deal breaker. The rubber feet on the bottom of the unit do tend to come off on rugs, but are easily to put back on. Power cord might not be long enough for some users. Its only 6 feet. Despite my minor gripes, I was so happy with my first 660, I now have two. 5 out of 5 stars.

This little fan has changed my life. My husband and I recently moved into a new place, and while it is perfect in almost every way, it’s lacking a ceiling fan in the bedroom. As someone who needs air circulation/movement to sleep, and not having a plug-in fan to use, I immediately started researching fans thinking we most likely would have to get some large, obnoxious, and unsightly fan in the name of being able to sleep comfortably. What I didn’t know is how far fan technology has come since I was a kid! Gone are the days of box fans or large oscillating fans (and even tower fans which are apparently a pain to clean). Now you can get a small, aesthetically pleasing fan with incredible power that will sit atop your dresser and turn your bedroom into a windstorm (if that’s your preference). Since receiving this amazing little fan we’ve had the best sleep we’ve had in years! We have yet to use anything but the lowest setting, and I’m not sure we’ll need the medium or high settings (except maybe to help paint dry or something), but it’s nice to know it can go higher if need be. You can almost feel the air bouncing off the walls (like the advertisement video), and the white noise has also been a nice bonus (although I wouldn’t say it’s loud by any means). We have the small size which is perfect for our bedroom space, and I imagine it could work for larger spaces on a higher setting, but a medium or large size may be needed. I never thought I would spend this much time reviewing a fan, but I love it that much! Highly recommend!!!

We purchased two of these to circulate air from a pellet stove in different buildings. The Alexa automation is great for ducking -- to turn down the speed when people are speaking / listening to entertainment. Sure - its a nice to have voice command feature, but very handy. The speeds are pretty useful, though I doubt the air circulation speeds cited by Vornado are attainable in typical residential environments. That said, the website produces meaningful metrics that other manufacturers dont bother with, and this helps them to stand out.

I have to air circulating air when I sleep. I use the 2nd setting and it is quiet enough so to not me bother with sleep. Could probably even go a higher level. I love that you can it take apart and clean the blade and inside fan grooves. Not a fast disassemble but not hard either.

I finally found the one.! I have gone through so many fans that I ended up giving away because the noise drove me crazy. This one is pricey, I know, but it is awesome! I sleep with it next to me on low, it is powerful, but most of all it is so quiet. I’m so glad I bought this. I keep the plastic bag it came with over it when not in use to avoid dust. So far so good

This fan really circulates air well. I generally just have it facing ceiling - and I can feel a real difference. I’m in Vermont where it doesn’t get terribly hot for long periods. I use it with the heat on and seems to help my lungs get air. It came ready to use. Only had a few months so I hope it works a long time. Also bought a cheaper similar fan for a bathroom that did nothing so i’m now a Vornado fan. If it stops working I will update.
