Nice looking fan and it really puts out the air. We did not like the noise level of the fan. Even on the low speed the airflow was very good but it made to much of an airflow noise for the room we were using it for.

My friend has the 99.99 Vornado fan and it works wonderful. I got the 49.99 as i have a smaller room and its GREAT!

I was looking for a powerful fan, and the Vornado 660 delivered; however, I will say that some of the reviews make it sound more powerful than it actually is. I would have given it five stars, but I am not completely sure I buy the whole air circulator aspect of the fan, in that it doesnt seem to act as any more of an air circulator than any other powerful fan. That being said, I bought it to use in a room that I spend a lot of time in that is particularly difficult to keep cool because it is upstairs and has floor to ceiling windows on the side of the room where my desk is situated. Ive been experimenting with using this fan to move the air conditioned air around the room in a manner that counteracts the heat coming through the windows. Its been in the high 80s and low 90s in Vegas for the past couple of weeks, and I have to say that the 660 makes a big difference in bringing down the temperature of the room (I believe the AC cycles on less frequently becuase the 660 probably lowers the temperature by a degree or two). The real test will be a month from now, when were at 115 on a daily basis. As for the build quality, its excellent, especially when I compare it to other fans Ive had (although at $100, its exactly the quality I expect), but for the price, a remote would have been nice. In terms of noise, its no more or less noisy than I would expect from a fan this powerful and, while Im not using it in the bedroom, it wouldnt keep me awake, as it produces exactly the sort of white noise that puts me to sleep. Because its in my office, I was afraid the noise might get picked up on zoom and phone calls, but Ive asked people, and they dont hear it. I like it enough to purchase another one for another problem area in the house.

I love this fan for sleeping! It is so quiet, yet moves a lot of air.

This fan blows really well for its size. My last fan was a standard 12” that I would keep on high. Even the low speed on this fan is stronger than the high speed on my old fan. Definitely would recommend.

I bought this Vornado fan to use in a small bathroom and to travel with as I am a fan sleeper. Great air flow, aesthetics are pleasing, and (to me) the price is reasonable. Although it will fit in a suitcase it is slightly larger than I would like. The drawback, and the reason I returned it, is the tilt function. The metal strip along the back does not keep the fan in place. If you tilt it all the way down, it will, fairly quickly, begin to tilt up. If Im in bed, and I want the fan directly on my face (which I do) it wont accomplish that goal, as within minutes the fan is pointing upwards. Im not an engineer but it sure seems like a design flaw to me. Im going to order the 133 which is slightly smaller, does not have the metal strip, and see how that works.

We just spent almost $17,000 for a state of the art AC unit a couple weeks ago due to the phasing out of R22 / Freon and wanting to not continue punching holes in the Ozone later. As budding hippies we wanted to do the world a service but ended up super depressed when it was 115 degrees out and we discovered that the new units don’t really cool as well as the clunky old enviro-killers that were the R22s. Even with the thermostat at 72 degrees b our bedroom would hit 80 stuffy degrees due to ductwork and the fact that it is living on the roof where it is 165 degrees in the blistering Arizona sun. Anyway, you want to hear about the Vornado, not my rude awakening about modern AC units. So I was crazy excited about this purchase and was waiting at the door for it. I had watched some YouTube reviews and was sold even before the endings. Take my money NOW!!! Unboxing was standard. Very nicely packaged and a very solid fan. I adored how robust it feels and that it isn’t on a pedestal. Having 3 fans in the bedroom is not only a pain for us but confusing for our poor Roomba that is officially afraid of trying to map / chart our floor layout due to constantly moving pedestal fans. And cords everywhere. Just no. Anyway, we set up our little Vornado (the 660 is the model we went with) on the bedroom dresser and turned it on. Woah! It wasn’t fake force wind “WOAH!” but more like wind chill “woah.” We have a hot spot in the bedroom between the bed and window that gets really hot and stuffy. Our thermometer there reads 78-79 degrees. Well, I have taken all the pedestal fans out of the bedroom and have been running the Vornado for about 25 minutes and we are already reading 76 degrees and dropping. The ice cold air from our hallway is actually mixing in with the hot bedroom air and cooling effectively like the AC fan and ceiling fan is failing at. Mind you it is 107 outside and climbing. I can’t even describe my joy. We sat on the bed and it feels like cold air is going all around us. No weird hot spots or humidity. Just a really consistent “cold air is all around me” feeling and the absolute bliss that I don’t have to drop another 10k on ripping out all the ductwork. Guess who is buying another one of these for the guest suite? Yeah. This girl right here. 5 stars. I’m absolutely sold on this.

If you are looking for a fan that moves a lot of air & provides consistent white noise, youve found it. There is NO rattling. I tried a different Vornado fan that fit my decor but it rattled. They sent me a new one. It rattled. I gave up & purchased this less expensive model that doesnt fit my decor & I am very happy with it. I would recommend this fan to anyone...

The Vornado 460 Air Circulator combines the signature Vornado grill and deep-pitched propeller to move air up to 70 feet, while aerodynamically circulating all the air in a room. The 3-speed control allows for speed selection to meet any circulation need. Have absolute control of airflow, with the fully adjustable chrome glide bar. Use the 460 all year long for added comfort and energy savings in every season.
