We were needing a second remote for our Wii. I saw that Amazon offered the remote with the Wii Play game. I thought it was a pretty good deal for only about $10 more than if I were to buy only the remote. The remote works like it should. My kids enjoy the games on the disk.

Since we were going to buy another wii-mote ($40) anyway, we figured we might as well get one that came with 9 games for just another $10. It was well worth it. The games arent as fun as the Wii Sports but some are very addicting. Our favorites so far are the duck-hunt style shooting game, the cow-racing, and the fishing game. I like the tanks too but it could be improved with more bubble-bobble-like gameplay, letting you re-start at the level you died on. But overall, if youre in the market for another wii remote, youd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

I really only needed an extra remote so I bought the wii play bundle. I must admit i was disappointed with the games. At first i went through them unlocking them all as i went. I thought it was some kind of training mode than i realized that WAS the game. If your looking for a bundle to get the extra remote i would suggest wii resort. I gave it 3 stars because my son likes it and it was basically only 10 bucks.

I bought this product thinking it would have a lot of great games AND I would get the second remote I needed. Well it isnt bad, but also isnt great. The remote is the remote - nothing more, nothing less. Some of the games are a lot of fun, but others are just a waste. My favorite is Billiards. It centers solely around the 9 ball game, but is a lot of fun for the entire family. Maybe an 8 ball game is out there, but not in this package. Shooting and ping pong are also fun. Pose Mii is just stupid, but I guess kids might enjoy it. I do like the multi-player function. I guess for the price it is worth the $10...especially if you arent a die hard game person and would enjoy some good old fun.

While I certainly would not have shelled out $50 for wii play without the remote, for the $10 above the cost of a wiimote, this game is a great novelty and really demonstrates the innovative nature of the wii and gets me excited for for the future. This arrived today at work from Amazon - and I played it on my 1 hour lunch break at home - which was ample time to try each game and go round too on the shooting. I do think overall it is fun and stands on its own. The key to the game is to have enough miis made. Finding my sister, wife, and mom in find mii was pretty funny. Watching them dance around the title screen is pretty amusing as well. Here are my quick thoughts on each game: 1. Shooting - Short - but lots of fun. Definitely repeatable. 2. Find Mii - actually pretty clever - you start finding people yielding a flashlight in a dark room after a few rounds. Definitely better if you have created some miis. 3. Ping Pong - not much fun in my opinion - a little overly simplistic 4. Air Hockey - Actually kind of fun - strong nostalgia factor a la atari pong 5. Bubble Burst - I does hurt your wrist a bit, but very different from any game I have ever played - looking forward to 2 player here 6. Billiards - Probably the most challenging - I think it will have a longer lifespan than the others 7. Cow Riding - By far the zaniest, the controls are really unique and engaging 8. Tank - Lots of Atari Nostalgia. Could definitely see myself playing this one more 9. Fishing - pretty lame - If you have Zelda: Twilight princess - you will see what fishing on the Wii should really be like!

If you need to buy an extra remote, this is a good deal. Id recommend it for those who are new to the Wii. The games included are really good for learning how to use the remote and getting your hand-eye-pointer coordination down for the real games. Overall the games included are pretty simple and have no replay value other than trying to beat someone else score. In most cases I could see people playing through the 9 games a few times till they get bored of them, then putting the disk away for good.

I bought this since I needed another Remote, and figured Id get a game along with it for 10$ essentially. I expected Play to be an extension of Sports, and for $10, you get what you pay for. The shooting game is fun, as is Pool, the Rodeo game, and Fishing, but this is definitely a very short, limited (2 player only) multiplayer game.

This game should be packaged with the Wii itself. It is FANTASTIC for learning how to use the remotes. Its also fun if you just need a few minutes to chill. Beyond that it gets dull fast. Played it for hours when we got it. Then I was pretty much over it for good. Oh, it has a nice variety of games, but each game has only one variation. After youve run the gamut youre done. There are no expansion levels, no real options. Kids will get a kick out of it, especially in groups. Just dont expect it to hold their attention long.

If you are planning to buy a remote for your Wii, I would recommend buying this package. The game is entertaining, though quickly runs out of content as you play. I dont think Nintendo meant it as a game really, as the play flows through more as a tutorial to using your remote. For an extra ten bucks, it is worth it.

Wii Play itself is about on par with Wii Sports, but with a wider variety of gameplay. For $10 more than the Wiimote it comes with, its a great deal, and has some truely enjoyable games. At the same time, it is simple enough that everyone in a family would be able to play it. However, 3 of the games appeal almost exclusively to small children, and in my experience Laser Hockey was the only game I found extremely addicting.
