I have two girls - ages 4 and 7. We bought this primarily to get a second controller but the games in WiiPlay are simple, fun and easy to master. I think the main purpose of the games is to teach the user how to use a Wii controller. Once my girls mastered a few of the WiiPlay games, they were able to play other games (ex: Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz) with much more skill and ultimately had more fun. Their favorite games are Find Mii, the shooting gallery, and fishing. Summary: if youre an experienced gamer, skip this bundle. But, if youre a casual gamer just starting out on the Wii and happen to need an extra controller, Id highly recommend getting this package. Youll familiarize yourself with the Wii controller and have fun at the same time.

This is possibly the best purchase I have made online ever. The game comes with an extra Wii Remote, and is totally fun. It is more mini games you can play alone or with up to four people - things like billiards, lazer hockey, cow racing, and a shooting game similar to duck hunt. Since I couldnt find any Wii Remotes or Wii Play games for sale anywhere in my area I was thrilled to be able to order it on amazon for such a great price.

This game should be packaged with the Wii itself. It is FANTASTIC for learning how to use the remotes. Its also fun if you just need a few minutes to chill. Beyond that it gets dull fast. Played it for hours when we got it. Then I was pretty much over it for good. Oh, it has a nice variety of games, but each game has only one variation. After youve run the gamut youre done. There are no expansion levels, no real options. Kids will get a kick out of it, especially in groups. Just dont expect it to hold their attention long.

Im 30 and my husband just bought me a Wii for Christmas (we always exchange super early...we cant wait). Now, we only have 5 games so far, but this is my current favorite! I love most of these games. I enjoy playing them by myself, and also against someone else. I feel kind of lame loving this game, but I do enjoy playing it. Of all 9 games, I enjoy and play most of them regularly. Im not a huge fan of 8 ball or the air hockey type game, but I love the shooting game and the find the matches game.

Well since christmas of this year, I have went to multiple stores, online and all, and could not find a wii remote, the only ones ive seen are the generic colored ones. Call me crazy but I like my things to match and the name brands. But everyone was out of them, the only way to get one was to order this game. With that being said, the game itself is a little cheesy for an adult, but great for small kids. My 2 favorite games on here is the cow race, and the hunting game, its similar to the old duck hunt on NES. Ping Pongs not bad, but I had the worst time trying to figure out how to maneuver my wiimote to play the 9-ball pool. If your buying this just for the wiimote, then great, but I wouldnt suggest paying more than 10 bucks for the game itself.

I was fortunate to find this item on sale here for the same price as the Wii Remote. So it was a great value for me since I needed another controller. The games are not great however they meant to make you more familiar to handling the Wii Remote. Bottomline - If you need another remote and this package is on sale for the same price as the remote, buy it. Otherwise dont spend the extra $10.00.

I bought this game because it came with the Wii remote (licensed by Nintendo) and the price was right. The games on this disc are fun but they got old quick. They are, however, good for practice using the Wii remote and hand eye coordination if you arent very experienced with the Wii! Great deal!

If you are planning to buy a remote for your Wii, I would recommend buying this package. The game is entertaining, though quickly runs out of content as you play. I dont think Nintendo meant it as a game really, as the play flows through more as a tutorial to using your remote. For an extra ten bucks, it is worth it.

As many people have said, buying this is basically for the extra remote. Many people have said that the titles arent fun, and I agree. However, young children absoloutley love these games, such as my 4 year old and 7 year old. The wii remote itself is $40, so the games are only 10 dollars extra. If you have children then I would definetly recommend this. If not, then these 9 games are not worth your 10 bucks.

Over all a good set of games. The only knock I have is the lack of directions. It took calling a friend to find out I had to play all the games once before I could pick the game I wanted to play. While playing pool it can be difficult to get the hang of how to move the cue stick. Its easy to point the controller away from the screen as you draw the cue back and then nothing happens. Over all Id say this is a buy.

Wii Play collects nine quick and addictive games that are easy to pick up and play and hard to put away. Thanks to the intuitive controls of the Wii Remote, even the most inexperienced gamers will have no trouble mastering the controls.
Wii Play features nine separate mini-games, including the following:
Shooting Range, a point-and-fire game of target practice in the Duck Hunt tradition.
Billiards, a simplified variation of nine-ball with stunningly realistic physics that uses your Wii Remote as your pool cue.
Find Mii, in which you scan the crowds to find the right Mii—and Miis you and your friends created make an appearance.
Tanks!, in which you command a toy tank on a miniature battlefield in a gauntlet of 100 missions.
Other games include Pose Mii, Table Tennis, Fishing, Charge!, and Laser Hockey.
Every game features a multiplayer mode, so you and your friends can compete for the high score or go head to head to see who’s the best. Wii Play comes with a white Wii Remote so that your friends can join in the action. (Nunchuk not included.)
