Wii Play with Wii Remote

Greater than one weekLets RE-Lay out the facts. Wii Play costs about 5 bucks more than a Wii remote. The Wii Play remote does come with the soft rubber cover, so you are getting the same product. What the heck are some of these whiners expecting from the games for less than five bucks? It seems like theyre expecting them to perform like one of the high end game$$. I actually enjoy most if not all of these simplistic games and play them extensively with my 7 year old daughter. Yeah, theyre kinda cheesy. For five bucks, what do you expect?? If youve got a young kid or like a bit of cheesy entertainment, this package is a great value. If you are a real Gamer, just get the remote and spend the money on your more fancy game$. After some apprehension reading some of the negative reviews, I do not regret this purchase one bit.

> 3 dayOver all a good set of games. The only knock I have is the lack of directions. It took calling a friend to find out I had to play all the games once before I could pick the game I wanted to play. While playing pool it can be difficult to get the hang of how to move the cue stick. Its easy to point the controller away from the screen as you draw the cue back and then nothing happens. Over all Id say this is a buy.

> 3 dayWe bought it because of the controller, so we cannot say anything yet about the games. We live out of the U.S., and it is cheaper like this no matter how you put it. The games included, if they are wonderful or not so wonderful, will be just fine, since we consider it a bonus! The controller is performing greatly.

Greater than one weekSo the Wii Play games may be simple, but theyre fun. And considering youre getting a Wii Remote WITH the games, this purchase is a no-brainer. Depending on the price you pay, youre basically getting the game disc for anywhere from free to $10.00. Why buy a new remote by itself when you can get one with the Wii Play games? And if you dont want the games, you can always sell the disc on eBay and will probably end up making money in the process.

Greater than one weekWii Play is a fun, interactive way to challenge your friends in a non-violent contest of skill. Great game for all ages. It is not meant for single-player, but mainly for 2-4 players at a time. Some of the best games are Tanks, Charge, Laser-hockey and Duck Hunt (there is no blood and only about 3 ducks, mostly targets, in Duck Hunt). This is a good deal because you get the game and the controller (a $90 value).

> 3 dayThis was definite a good buy. I had read the review on Amazon first before I bought it. Just the wI mote alone costs so you get the games for $10 which is really cheap. The games were quite fun - not as sophisticate as other games so that is why I gave it a 4 stars, could have been a 4.5 stars. I highly recommend if you are looking for a second wiimote.

> 3 dayWii Play is a pretty good game. It is very hard to stop playing the games since they are very addicting! Wii Play has Bronze, Silver, and Gold metals. It saves your progress. The hardest game, would probably be the Mii Find. You have to find things. So Find the Two look-alikes, Find the Fastest Mii, Find the Odd Miis, etc. This game is fun for the whole family and gets your brain working. Another game is shooting. You shoot at the baloons, cans, targets, and frisbees. It is a lot of fun! Table tennis is fun. The return challange is really cool. Another (THE MOST ADDICTING) game is Tanks, it is a lot of fun! You can lay mines and you shoot all the enemie tanks. I like the two-player version. I also like fishing. You get points for catching certain types of fish. Then there is billards. I like this game a little. I would recommend this game to anybody really. Wii play is a lot of fun for the whole family! Plus you get another remote!

> 3 dayI bought this because it was the same price as just purchasing a Wiimote. I figured we were bound to get one good game out of it. I was right! For the most part, these games are quite good. There are 8 games, including: a variation on Duck Hunt (from the original NES system), Pool, Table Tennis (which was somewhat difficult to get used to and not very impressive), a tank/shooting game (not too impressed by this one either), a cow racing game (hilarious!), two different matching/dexterity games, and a fishing game (which we have yet to figure out). All of the games allow you to use the full functionality of the Wiimote (and sometimes the nunchuk). Its totally worth it. Even if you only end up liking one of the games, its the same price as just getting the controller. Go for it!

> 3 dayI bought this product thinking it would have a lot of great games AND I would get the second remote I needed. Well it isnt bad, but also isnt great. The remote is the remote - nothing more, nothing less. Some of the games are a lot of fun, but others are just a waste. My favorite is Billiards. It centers solely around the 9 ball game, but is a lot of fun for the entire family. Maybe an 8 ball game is out there, but not in this package. Shooting and ping pong are also fun. Pose Mii is just stupid, but I guess kids might enjoy it. I do like the multi-player function. I guess for the price it is worth the $10...especially if you arent a die hard game person and would enjoy some good old fun.

> 3 dayI bought this since I needed another Remote, and figured Id get a game along with it for 10$ essentially. I expected Play to be an extension of Sports, and for $10, you get what you pay for. The shooting game is fun, as is Pool, the Rodeo game, and Fishing, but this is definitely a very short, limited (2 player only) multiplayer game.
