This product is a bargain-priced game ($10) bundled with a not-so-bargain-priced WiiMote ($30). It is an excellent novelty for adults AND children, but the fun wears off after a few weeks of play. I gave this product a 4-star fun rating because though some of the games bombed, some of them are truly fun to play. The WiiMote that comes with the game worked fine for me, and came with batteries and a clear protective cover (unlike my first WiiMote.) Sometimes the connection with the game is a little patchy, but not very often. Now, for the 9 minigame overviews... SHOOTING RANGE- 7/10 Quick and fast-paced. The goal is to shoot ducks, targets, balloons, and UFOs. It becomes a little repetitive, with the targets going in nearly the same order every time, but other than that its a lot of fun. Slow players be wary! FIND MII- 5/10 A little slow, but still all right. The goal is to find the Miis with certain characteristics- look-alikes, sleepyheads, fastest Mii, etc. The modes of play are all pretty much the same, but the settings are varied. Its especially fun to play with someone else, but you need sharp eyes to win! POSE MII- 2/10 Boring and slightly confusing at first. The goal is to pose your Mii and insert it in little bubbles before they pop. The bubbles go faster and faster until youre eventually beaten, so theres no real winning on single player. I didnt really get this game. PING PONG- 6/10 Fast-paced, but can be confusing at times. The goal is to keep returning each others serves, but its much different from real Ping-Pong. In this you simply block the ball from flying off the table- no swinging serves, spinning, etc. Still, its interesting enough and has good replay value. LASER HOCKEY- 6/10 COOL sums it up pretty well. The laser effects are a great touch, and this game is a lot of fun with another person. Sometimes the puck is slow, however, and its frustrating when it gets stuck in the corners or right outside the goal. Quite realistic, though! CHARGE!- 7/10 Hilarious at first, but the fun does wear off after running on the same track every time. At first the concept of riding a cow, collecting scarecrows, and leaping over hurdles is enough to make you want to play over and over again, but once you get used to it the funs gone. PLAY WITH ANOTHER PLAYER! FISHING- 4/10 A little odd. The goal is to catch the fish that they want you to catch, but for players who havent mastered their Wii controls properly, its confusing and difficult. Its really nothing like fishing, because all of the fish fight to bite the hook. The graphics are interesting, though! BILLIARDS- 8/10 For pool/billiards fanatics (or even dabblers) this game is a dream come true. Its realistic and has fairy simple conrtrols. The only problem is that the mode of play (9-ball pool) cannot be changed. Good for people who are beginners or novices, too! TANKS- 9/10 HILARIOUS and a TON of fun! I personally like this game the best. You steer your little toy tank around a battlefield of bricks, shooting and bombing enemy tanks (the goal is to blow them up.) You get lives on single player, but on multiplayer (where you work as a team) you dont. The Nunchuk can be used if you are really intent on winning, but for casual gamers the D-pad should suffice. Overall, I think this game has something for everyone! Adults will like Billiards for sure, and kids will enjoy Charge!. If youre thinking about purchasing a new WiiMote, I suggest you get this bundle (its not really worth it alone.)

Well, the only thing that makes you buy this game is the fact that comes with the remote. Some games are little boring but I also think that playing them can make you get used to the remote. You start with the basic use of the remote and as you play each one of them (you have to play all games sequentially) the handling of the remote gets harder, but thats one thing youll thank when youre in difficult kind of games. Any case, I recommend it, but just if you need another remote.

This is definately worth the money. Picture buying a Wiimote with a $10 game. The most of the games take about 10 seconds to get used to, and are generally better for a younger crowd. There are 9 minigames in all on it, but about half of them are useless. Find Mii and Pose Mii might as well not even exist. The cow racing game is fun for about 5 minutes, then gets old. The same thing can be said about the table tennis. The fishing game is good for working on your reflexes and is fairly entertaining. The laser hockey and shooting game is really fun. But the highlights of this game is the billiards and the tank game. Billiards is really fun, but should have had a 9-ball version as well. The tank game can keep you entertained for hours, and is the only challenging game in the whole thing. If nothing else, get it just for these four games. Its worth the ten extra dollars.

Buy this game if you need another remote. In fact, you should not buy a remote on its own if you could get a deal on this game. The game is obviously a $10 quality game, but its well-made nonetheless. The simplicity of the game would attract the newbiest of the gamers as there is almost no learning curve to overcome just to be sufficiently able to have fun. The laser hockey is definitely a multiplayer favorite as it provides endless addiction of trying to get back with each other as you beat them and they beat you back and forth. The billiard is also very nice as it translates your thrusting motion to the power of your billiard stick. The shooting game reminisces of the very old NES duck shooting game, I wish they would just had that whole duck game in there as the version here is way too short. This game quickly replaced our wii sports resort as our multiplayer game of choice that provides simple fun rather than competing in sophistication of wiimoting techniques. However, like the other reviewer said this game is mainly sold for the wiimote, and the games are just slightly more than a demo-like that will last you an hour or two before you get really bored, or hooked, depending who you play with.

I dont mind the games. They are very entertaining for the kids to play on a rainy day. The preschooler especially likes them. I bought this pack though, because our remotes were dying (bit of overly rough treatment). It seemed like a great deal. I didnt realize when I ordered it that it wasnt the motion plus remote so it cant be used with all our games. It wasnt in the description. So beware of that one thing if you are looking for a new remote.

We bought this because of the price. We knew we needed a 2nd remote for the Wii, and this was 10 dollars more than the cost of the remote alone. The games are very simple, and I think in a few more weeks -- maybe months -- the kids (8 and 10 yr old girls) will have gotten bored with them, but 10 dollars for several months worth of entertainment seems to be a pretty good deal.

First, dont let the overall rating for this game fool you. I admit that I am not a hardcore gamer, but I do like fun simple games. However, this game (or collection of games) is way too simple, in fact I feel as though I may have lost some of my IQ just playing this worthless game. I am ashamed to have this title in my game collection, what is worse is that I cant get rid of it unless I am prepared to lose at least half of what I paid for it! Virtually every game on this CD should be rated for age 6 and UNDER as not a single game even lives up to the game collection that comes with the Wii. The only reason I may keep this game is for the extra Wii remote since it would have cost me about what I paid for this game. In fact the only reason I rated this game with one star is because the rating system would allow for 0 or -10 stars. STEER CLEAR OF THIS GAME!! Anyone who tells you otherwise must either be high on crack or is trying to sell their copy.

So the Wii Play games may be simple, but theyre fun. And considering youre getting a Wii Remote WITH the games, this purchase is a no-brainer. Depending on the price you pay, youre basically getting the game disc for anywhere from free to $10.00. Why buy a new remote by itself when you can get one with the Wii Play games? And if you dont want the games, you can always sell the disc on eBay and will probably end up making money in the process.

I just got my Nintendo Wii Play game with bonus remote in the mail. I was looking for an extra remote and thought I got a great deal when I found this one with a game for such a great price. When I got it today I was a little disappointed right away when I opened it up and the box looked like it was stepped on and kicked across the room... The outer packaging was fine so I assume the box was in that condition before it was sent via USPS. When I opened it up I noticed a big scratch on the front of the Wii remote and it even looks like there is some dirt or something between the remote and the rubber cover. The game is still wrapped and brand new. Despite the not so brand new condition of the remote, I still think I got a pretty decent deal... although it may be a little harder to give as a gift now, as I planned. Good thing it is only going to my 6 and 9 year old.

Yes, its not the hottest set of Wii games. But you get the game basically free with the remote and I have to say, the kids seem to really enjoy it. Theyve played all the simple games in this set and keep going back to it, even over the sports and carnival games. Totally worth the money.
