Wii Play with Wii Remote

Greater than one weekOver all a good set of games. The only knock I have is the lack of directions. It took calling a friend to find out I had to play all the games once before I could pick the game I wanted to play. While playing pool it can be difficult to get the hang of how to move the cue stick. Its easy to point the controller away from the screen as you draw the cue back and then nothing happens. Over all Id say this is a buy.

> 3 dayWii Play is a fun, interactive way to challenge your friends in a non-violent contest of skill. Great game for all ages. It is not meant for single-player, but mainly for 2-4 players at a time. Some of the best games are Tanks, Charge, Laser-hockey and Duck Hunt (there is no blood and only about 3 ducks, mostly targets, in Duck Hunt). This is a good deal because you get the game and the controller (a $90 value).

> 3 dayIm 30 and my husband just bought me a Wii for Christmas (we always exchange super early...we cant wait). Now, we only have 5 games so far, but this is my current favorite! I love most of these games. I enjoy playing them by myself, and also against someone else. I feel kind of lame loving this game, but I do enjoy playing it. Of all 9 games, I enjoy and play most of them regularly. Im not a huge fan of 8 ball or the air hockey type game, but I love the shooting game and the find the matches game.

> 3 dayWe bought this because of the price. We knew we needed a 2nd remote for the Wii, and this was 10 dollars more than the cost of the remote alone. The games are very simple, and I think in a few more weeks -- maybe months -- the kids (8 and 10 yr old girls) will have gotten bored with them, but 10 dollars for several months worth of entertainment seems to be a pretty good deal.

> 3 dayWe purchased the wii console for Christmas for our kids and since it only came with one controller, we purchsed this game because it came with the additional remote, the game was fun and the kids enjoy it, the games are not as intense as some of the other wii games but its pretty fun; the only drawback is only two players can play at a time.

> 3 daySince we were going to buy another wii-mote ($40) anyway, we figured we might as well get one that came with 9 games for just another $10. It was well worth it. The games arent as fun as the Wii Sports but some are very addicting. Our favorites so far are the duck-hunt style shooting game, the cow-racing, and the fishing game. I like the tanks too but it could be improved with more bubble-bobble-like gameplay, letting you re-start at the level you died on. But overall, if youre in the market for another wii remote, youd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

> 3 dayI bought this product mainly for the Wii remote. I had seen reviews on Amazon for just the remote, and some people said they got knock-offs. I figured with Wii Play, the remote had to be genuine. And at this price, it is like getting the game for free. Now for the games - a few of them are fun. Were new at Wii, and we have three kids, two of them just under 5. They love the shooting gallery and the Find Mii games, and can play them with a little help. The other games are okay; our 9 year old seems to enjoy them.

> 3 dayI previously had a PS2. Going from that to the Wii, Im not impressed. I bought the Wii for more family play time. I cannot get the wife to play it. My son really likes it. He is 8. He likes several of the games on this disk. I couldnt care less about it. I cant wait until it gets warm outside again so we can go out and do stuff as a family.

> 3 dayThe Wii Play games are pretty fun and, for us, its worth the cost to have the billiards, ping pong, and ice hockey (they call it laser hockey). Wii Play on its own is probably not worth more than about $15-$20, but we bought because we also got the free remote. What I didnt realize--having gotten a Wii and another remote that had a rechargeable battery for the holidays--is that all remotes are not rechargeable. It seems one has to buy a separate battery pack, which costs another $10. Nintendo seems to have mastered the art of make them buy more.
