Wii Play with Wii Remote

> 3 dayAs others have said, this is pretty much a $10 game with a $35 remote. If I were the only person playing it, Id probably rate it 3 stars. However, the shooting mini-game is one of the few games my 3 year old can play comfortably on the wii. The simple interface and clear marker that appears on the screen helped teach him how to point the remote at the tv and [eventually] control its movement. He also really enjoys fishing, but controlling the rod is a little touchy so we need to help him get it back in the pond and keeping it steady. The other games are ok. My husband enjoys billiards and I like ping pong. Find Mii is pretty dumb. All in all Id recommend this for anyone in need of an extra remote and for those with smaller children that get frustrated with regular wii games that are still too advanced (and assuming youre comfortable with them playing target shooting games). Also, if you have the Wii zapper - it works well with the target shooting game. My 3 year old has better control with just the remote, but prefers the zapper because it feels more like one of his toy guns.

Greater than one weekAs many people have said, buying this is basically for the extra remote. Many people have said that the titles arent fun, and I agree. However, young children absoloutley love these games, such as my 4 year old and 7 year old. The wii remote itself is $40, so the games are only 10 dollars extra. If you have children then I would definetly recommend this. If not, then these 9 games are not worth your 10 bucks.

Greater than one weekThe Wii Play games are difficult if you are not a typical younger gamer used to the controls. We played the Ping Pong with a 22 yr old and got killed. We are all 60+. We all laughed and applauded our skill and lack of, so the product is a success. The price with the control included was a real deal, and delivery was very quick indeed. I recommend the seller and the product.

> 3 dayWii Play itself is about on par with Wii Sports, but with a wider variety of gameplay. For $10 more than the Wiimote it comes with, its a great deal, and has some truely enjoyable games. At the same time, it is simple enough that everyone in a family would be able to play it. However, 3 of the games appeal almost exclusively to small children, and in my experience Laser Hockey was the only game I found extremely addicting.

21-11-2024Our household consists of 2 30-somethings, a 13 yr old, and a 10 yr old. I bought it for Christmas with our Wii so we would have 2 controllers to pass back and forth. The extra $10 is worth it in my book. Us (the adults) went through all the games first - we enjoyed the target shooting game and the ping pong game - the others were either lame or too hard (we couldnt get the pool cue to do what we wanted). Then the kids played it - they are extremely good at the pool game!! So they are definately getting my $10 moneys worth out of it.

> 3 daySince we were going to buy another wii-mote ($40) anyway, we figured we might as well get one that came with 9 games for just another $10. It was well worth it. The games arent as fun as the Wii Sports but some are very addicting. Our favorites so far are the duck-hunt style shooting game, the cow-racing, and the fishing game. I like the tanks too but it could be improved with more bubble-bobble-like gameplay, letting you re-start at the level you died on. But overall, if youre in the market for another wii remote, youd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.

Greater than one weekThis was a great bundle. It came with a wii controller, which was awesome. My four year old needed his own controller. The games are cool for him to get use to and learn how to use the controller. I bought this used for 10.00 dollars, which makes me like it even more. Thanks for the purchase!

> 3 dayI bought this because it was the same price as just purchasing a Wiimote. I figured we were bound to get one good game out of it. I was right! For the most part, these games are quite good. There are 8 games, including: a variation on Duck Hunt (from the original NES system), Pool, Table Tennis (which was somewhat difficult to get used to and not very impressive), a tank/shooting game (not too impressed by this one either), a cow racing game (hilarious!), two different matching/dexterity games, and a fishing game (which we have yet to figure out). All of the games allow you to use the full functionality of the Wiimote (and sometimes the nunchuk). Its totally worth it. Even if you only end up liking one of the games, its the same price as just getting the controller. Go for it!

Greater than one weekThis was definite a good buy. I had read the review on Amazon first before I bought it. Just the wI mote alone costs so you get the games for $10 which is really cheap. The games were quite fun - not as sophisticate as other games so that is why I gave it a 4 stars, could have been a 4.5 stars. I highly recommend if you are looking for a second wiimote.

> 3 dayWe have so much fun with these little games -- just pick them up & enjoy! I am not very competitive, so I enjoy playing for fun, not to beat everyone else in the room! The race is amusing & the faster you go, the crazier the ride. I had to work at it a bit to get my score up, since the scarecrows pop up & skid away quickly I like the other games as well, and found I was pretty good at some of the shooting challenge... even though I have never done anything like that before. The ducks always surprise you... and are a bit tricky. The shape matching is a bit tricky - until your auto-reflexes kick in. Fishing -- Now over 2,000 pts and cruising~ Doesnt frustrate younger players, fun to pick up and play a few rounds, but if you are super competitive - move on.
