> 24 hourIf youre looking for a smart plug this one is a great option. Great price and lots of integrations. Just plug it in, open the app, add the plug, and never worry about it again. I have mine added to Google Home and also added to my Samsung phones device control panel. Ive also hooked it up to my StreamDeck using IFTT (free tier). Easy to turn on and off from my phone, smart speaker, and desk. Awesome!

> 24 hourI decided to try these as an upgrade over old school outlet timers. One on the coffee pot and one for a lamp. It’s fairly easy to setup but not immediately intuitive for non tech types. It requires using their app and it requires internet access. The app allows linking up Wyze sensors as triggers or setting any type of schedule. I guess IFTTT has some actions that can be used as well. But no Apple Homekit integration and that’s for all Wyze to date. I believe they do work with Alexa and google home. Basically once in the app, you can setup action, schedules and shortcuts. What I like is it’s easy to over ride the schedule by simply going to the app to turn on or off rather than reaching down behind a cabinet or table to reach a timer to manually hit the on off button, although these also have the physical button. For lamps, there is a vacation mode that I believe randomizes the on off schedule. It would be useful if they added a dusk to dawn function or allow selecting dusk and or dawn individually for lamp scheduling. What I don’t like is no ability to edit the WiFi setup without resetting and starting over and reliance on internet access. So far I’ve only had one failure to turn on when scheduled, not sure why. For the cost, it’s cheaper than a plug-in timer and offers 15amp capacity for things like coffee makers. Overall, I’d buy again but would like to see easier ability to edit WiFi setup and zero reliance on internet once setup.

> 24 hourThe only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 was the fact it cannot connect to 5GHz Wireless networks. I know it states clear as day that its a 2.4GHz WiFi Smart Plug, but its 2022 and most products with WiFi capabilities should connect to 5GHz networks. The Smart Plug works as it should. You can power on any appliance or electronic device from anywhere you can get an internet connection. So far so good. I will be sure to add more after I do some thorough testing.

> 24 hourI have Wyze plugs, cameras, & doorbell. Love their prices (though dislike the country they come from) I can do anything with my app from across the country. Will always check out their new/older products Give them a try, you wont be disappointed

> 24 hourI was using TPlink outlets, much the same size & design. But in the bedroom, a bit away from the router, I had issues with it staying on line. This Wyse outlet has been reliable from day one. Ive had it for months now and have it programmed to go on automatically at night, and I tell Google to turn it off once Im in bed. No issues.

> 24 hourGreat price. Great functionality. Get one today! Easy to setup and use. You can use the app to create routines to schedule outlet on/off, etc. Also can trigger the outlet on from other Wyze sensor devices, etc. We have several of these and they have consistently worked great.

> 24 hourBoth units went offline a couple of times. To reconnect, I had to add the devices again (no need to delete them, just added on top and the app will use the wifi password stored for the existing device). Other than that, it works as desired. Since I need this mostly to turn on/off a device and lights, it works even if it goes offline. But if I needed to start/stop something at a discretionary time, it may not be online when I need it.

> 24 hourI ordered and received 3 wyze plugs. I have the most current version of their Android app on my Samsung S8+ which is also updated. I tried to connect to them near my router, excellent signal strength. First one spent an hour rebooting WiFi & router (as suggested), resetting to factory default, power cycle, ad nauseam. It took several minutes to change from slow blinking light to fast blinking pairing mode. It would get to a page showing my network name and password, that it read from somewhere cuz I didnt enter them, then try to connect and then tell me to re enter my password that I didnt enter. It was able to read it and show it to me. But nonetheless I entered my 16 char password. Then endlessly waiting to connect. Found several try this and check that pages, including Wyze suggestions, but didnt help. An hour of this was enough. Second one: plugged in it went to pairing mode fairly quickly paired and connected in minutes. Then it said there was an update, which failed 5 times, but at least its listed in my wyze app and I got a message its connected to my Alexa. So I can use it, i just cant update it. Third, same as first. Same BS restarting router & WiFi etc etc but nothing. Another hour wasted. So what we know is nothing wrong with my router or WiFi, cuz 2nd one connected fine. The problem is therefore with the 2 bad plugs. Summsry: 2 out of 3 failed out of the box, and 3rd did connect but update fails on it. Whoever does Quality Assurance at wyze shouldnt even get a lump of coal! There is no indication what its stuck on, no indication of progress, nothing. Just wait several minutes and get Failed, try again or re-enter your password, which also does not help. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WYZE PLUG & WITH WYZE OVERALL after this experience. Ill be returning the 2 bad ones, and probably the one that cant update. UPDATE: I moved the one that once worked to a different outlet, even closer to my WiFi, but it too now refuses to connect so Im returning all 3 of these failed outlets.

> 24 hourThis was my second purchase of Wyze plugs. The first were a bit of a pain to set up because I had to go outside to get far enough away from my router so my phone would switch to the 2Ghz channel, since the plugs only support 2Ghz. But this tactic wasnt working for my new plugs. After extensive online searches I realized that I had purchased a new revision of the plug that uses a Bluetooth connection between the phone and the plug during set up. The two versions look nearly identical so I had no idea. So the upshot is that this revision is far superior to the previous. Way easier to set up. But the packaging or instructions could have been more helpful in identifying which version I had. Apart from that minor detail I am very happy with these plugs. Theyre inexpensive yet reliable. I would buy again. I link them with Google Home but no reason to think they wont also work flawlessly with Alexa.
