> 3 dayWorks exactly as expected. Works well with Google Home (most of the time) and Wyze app and Wyze automation.

> 3 dayThe hardware functions fine. The app is garbage. Even with a good signal the software is unreliable. I have this controlling a light bar. Most of the time it operates correctly, but sometimes I will tap it to turn off in the app and it shows that it did, but the light is still on. The only fix is to unplug everything and force stop the app in app settings and plug it all in again. It does this often enough to be a problem. Their camera is even worse. Dont use wyze, there are better companies out there.

> 3 dayWork great, does what it says. I use this for my wyze cam v3 which from time to time freezes and needs power cycling. So I just remotely turn the wyze plug off and then on rather than unplugging the camera.

01-06-2025I had two hooked up and they worked fine but within 3 months one of the units began to work intemittently and began to cycle on and off on its own. And after going to the Wyze site, theyre policy is if you didnt purchase from their web site, they wouldnt process any returns. And of course Amazon says you have to contact the manufacturer to process the return after their grace period. Not a good way to get repeat customers of any worthy reviews!!!!!!!

> 3 dayI have bought WYZE equipment previously and found it great. So I bought 3 color lightbulbs and 2 plugs. Of the plugs, the first failed totally. The second said it had to be updated - so I clicked update firmware - and it failed. This went on for 8 tries. I finally contacted customer support and they led me through a series of complicated steps that finally got it to work. Took about 2 hours. I went on the web and this seems to be a recurrent problem since August 2022 with no prospect of a fix. It is dumb to sell something that immediately has to be updated and cant be updated. Of the 3color lightbulbs. One updated sucessfully (hooray), one failed, and I finally got the 3rd to run, but I still cant get the firmware to update so I am stuck with obsolete firmware. So of 5 items, 2 are working, 1 sort of works, and 2 are in the tech recycling bin. And I wont ever buy WYZE again. I give it 2 stars because 2/5 actually work well.

Greater than one weekFirst off, I must say that I really, REALLY wanted to love Wyze and its products given that theyre a young, American start up company and sell their products at reasonable prices. Alas, theyre just not ready for prime time yet: -- I ordered 4 of these plugs and even though Im highly skilled in tech, it took hours of attempts, interactions with Wyze Wizards tech helpers and even after all of that, only two of the 4 plugs worked. -- Sadly, Wyzes tech help/customer service is extremely poor. Their Chat is not live, its all AI bot driven. If that cant help answer your question, you have a choice to either call or email. I gave up holding on the phone, the first time after 22 minutes and the second time after 37 minutes, and opted to email instead. It takes literally DAYS for the Wizards to email you back, only to discover that the Wizard either didnt read my question or didnt understand it, so I had to repeat it, going back and forth several times before getting a more qualified Wizard. All this for a product that literally takes 5 minutes to install when using other brands. Im very disappointed.

> 3 dayLove WYZE cams but these plugs have issues. I’ve had trouble re- synchronizing them. Not sure why they fail or lose connection . I’ve bought 2 2pks and only two are working today. I’m 900 miles away so very frustrating.

> 3 dayVery easy setup! The plugs works with my Alexa Echo. Initially connecting to wifi during setup was a little troublesome. But I do not have the fastest wifi speeds. With fast wifi speeds, setup would have been a breeze. Once set up they work great.

> 3 dayPreviously using T-Mobile and an M9 hotspot. These plugs worked fine. Upgraded to the inseego M2000 5G hotspot, Wyze cameras work fine, plugs no longer. Working with Wyze support about the problem tried all the troubleshooting still no luck getting them to work. Wyze provided me with new ones same result they still wouldnt work. I submitted my test and photographs to Wyze hopefully they can find a firmware fix. UPDATE: 4/17/22 Im not sure why but I got the plugs to work. After they set in a box for a month I thought well Ill try again. This time I tried holding the side button in position prior to plugging it into the socket and it acted like it was brand new and worked. Could be Wxye app update did something? Happy now.
