19-04-2025These are great. They allowed me to turn my remote control lamps into smart lamps I can turn on and off with my voice or the wyze app. And it works from wherever I am, even if Im not at home. Also they are easily portable and reusable for other devices! Straight forward and easy setup!

Greater than one weekLove WYZE cams but these plugs have issues. I’ve had trouble re- synchronizing them. Not sure why they fail or lose connection . I’ve bought 2 2pks and only two are working today. I’m 900 miles away so very frustrating.

> 3 dayThe only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 was the fact it cannot connect to 5GHz Wireless networks. I know it states clear as day that its a 2.4GHz WiFi Smart Plug, but its 2022 and most products with WiFi capabilities should connect to 5GHz networks. The Smart Plug works as it should. You can power on any appliance or electronic device from anywhere you can get an internet connection. So far so good. I will be sure to add more after I do some thorough testing.

> 3 dayI purchased one pack of 2, one was installed within minutes and the other did not work. I contacted customer service, they troubleshooted with me and after confirming that they could not get it to work, the company sent me a replacement without any hassle. The plugs work fine, this is my first smart plug so I have nothing to compare to. The app is user friendly, I use the plugs for my growlights and I can set a schedule, and turn it on/ remotely which was exactly what I need it for. Ive been using it for a few months now, no problems with the devices

> 3 dayI have switched out all my Amazon Smart Plugs with Wyze plugs. Why? Because the Wyze plugs actually work much better with my Echo devices than Amazons own plugs do. Telling Alexa to turn on/off the Amazon plugs were hit and miss, I never knew how many times I was going to have to repeat the command. The Wyze plugs work first time, every time. Whatever is going on with the plugs, Wyze is doing it right and Amazon isnt. And yes, I went through all the steps with the Amazon plugs, they just werent reliable.

> 3 dayI was using TPlink outlets, much the same size & design. But in the bedroom, a bit away from the router, I had issues with it staying on line. This Wyse outlet has been reliable from day one. Ive had it for months now and have it programmed to go on automatically at night, and I tell Google to turn it off once Im in bed. No issues.

> 3 dayI wouldnt consider myself a luddite, but I am not usually the first to adopt a new technology for the sake of simply having it. These plugs are *way* more convenient than I initially thought. I should specify, I did not utilize any of the Extra connectivity features to Alexa or anything, I just downloaded the app for ios, plugged them in, and was up-and-running very easily. While on vacation, I could set schedules for a bunch of different lights (including the outdoor christmas lights; plugged into one of these in the garage) and it worked great. I now have a couple things in my house that are hard to reach while plugged in, that I can now control from my phone while sitting on the couch... I see endless abuses for my new found power. :) The app does everything through your home wifi system, and is very quick to respond (on/off commands). Its super simple, and thus good for even the lesser technically incline. The only missing half star (if I could do half stars) is for the inexplicable scheduling of the vacation mode, which is like handing over your plug to a black box... it might be an amazing feature, but I couldnt figure out any of the parameters that cause it to engage/disengage. Thusly, I just used a timer schedule. Worked the same, and I could control it from numerous states away.

> 3 dayWorks exactly as expected. Works well with Google Home (most of the time) and Wyze app and Wyze automation.

> 3 dayInitially the plug was connected to my dual band 2.4 and 5 ghz mesh wifi. The mesh I thought was to manage any devices that connected at 2.4 ghz. Randomly, any of my Wyze devices would lose connection. Once I configured a guest network 2.4 ghz only and connected the cams and plugs to connect to the 2.4ghz network all is stable.

> 3 dayI initially found the Wyze plugs at that orange hardware store. I knew I had to have more! This Four-Pack is a bargain! We have a detached garage some distance from the home and never found a good solution for controlling the lights from the house. Apart from trenching the two buildings and running underground conduit the Wyze plug fit the bill as an effective solution! This product is not rated for outdoor use but Wyze does have outdoor plugs. We installed a low watt super bright LED motion sensor flood light on the out side and have it run it an outlet on the inside and it works perfectly! Wyze app has rules that you can set to your geographic location automatically to turn the light on at sunset and off at sunrise and even voice activated via your Amazon Alexa, or you cellphone Alexa app, or your Wyze app! You can even check the device status while you are away from your home! We even use Wyze plugs for fish tank lights!
