> 3 dayThe wise plug works well. Turns an item on and off. It could benefit from a dimmer function that allows us to turn an attached light up or down in brightness. We had this capability on our X-10 plug devices 25 to 30 years ago.

> 3 dayEDIT: Gave it one last shot before returning it, rebooted and powered on, deleted my component in Wyze phone app and redone the setup there, connected to my 2.4Ghz instead of 5Ghz and VIOLA! - communication/working with Alexa and features working. So, Ill chalk it up to user error this time and change my review to a positive. Setup can be a bit tricky if you are unsure but overall, you will get it going. ..... I could not get Alexa to turn this plug on and off. Drops out my network and I have a clear line of site from it to the router. I reset it up and did everything again and still nothing, now Alexa doesnt even see it anymore. Setup is just iffy. Cannot even download the app to your PC. Disappointed.

> 3 dayReally easy to set up and get working. Read several reviews about have problems with firmware update . When you open the app , Do not go to the device to update the firmware , go to your account (bottom right of your phone app) and find the firmware update menu and use it to update . If you go to the device to update the firmware it might hang . Try it !

> 3 dayThe only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 was the fact it cannot connect to 5GHz Wireless networks. I know it states clear as day that its a 2.4GHz WiFi Smart Plug, but its 2022 and most products with WiFi capabilities should connect to 5GHz networks. The Smart Plug works as it should. You can power on any appliance or electronic device from anywhere you can get an internet connection. So far so good. I will be sure to add more after I do some thorough testing.

> 3 dayThis was a replacement for an Amazon product that didn’t arrive, I.e. the envelope arrived but it was empty. Amazon quickly accommodated my need to get a smart plug fast and we substituted Wyze. I had it a day later. It was a little frustrating but I persevered, with the help of videos and tips on the Wyze website. I can now tell Alexa to turn on my Christmas tree! All is well.

Greater than one weekI was using TPlink outlets, much the same size & design. But in the bedroom, a bit away from the router, I had issues with it staying on line. This Wyse outlet has been reliable from day one. Ive had it for months now and have it programmed to go on automatically at night, and I tell Google to turn it off once Im in bed. No issues.

> 3 dayThis is my 3rd set of outlets and they work like they’re supposed to. If you’re looking for an inexpensive smart plug, these aren’t a bad choice. They can work with Home Assistant if you want to do a little extra leg work installing JoshuaMulliken’s integration.
