Wyze Plug, 2.4GHz WiFi Smart Plug, Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, No Hub Required, Four-Pack, White

Previously using T-Mobile and an M9 hotspot. These plugs worked fine. Upgraded to the inseego M2000 5G hotspot, Wyze cameras work fine, plugs no longer. Working with Wyze support about the problem tried all the troubleshooting still no luck getting them to work. Wyze provided me with new ones same result they still wouldnt work. I submitted my test and photographs to Wyze hopefully they can find a firmware fix. UPDATE: 4/17/22 Im not sure why but I got the plugs to work. After they set in a box for a month I thought well Ill try again. This time I tried holding the side button in position prior to plugging it into the socket and it acted like it was brand new and worked. Could be Wxye app update did something? Happy now.

If youre looking for a smart plug this one is a great option. Great price and lots of integrations. Just plug it in, open the app, add the plug, and never worry about it again. I have mine added to Google Home and also added to my Samsung phones device control panel. Ive also hooked it up to my StreamDeck using IFTT (free tier). Easy to turn on and off from my phone, smart speaker, and desk. Awesome!

I have been using Wyze products with my Alexa setup. They have very good price and all of them are working great. These plugs are a fantastic way to automatically turn on/off all kinds of dumb devices. Christmas trees, garage door, dehumidifier, air cleaner, for security in the shop, etc. My favorite use was after knee surgery, the doctor recommended the use of a water cooling ice pack for 20 minutes every hour. Using one of this devices + Alexa, it would do the job even when I was sleeping. Highly recommended

The hardware functions fine. The app is garbage. Even with a good signal the software is unreliable. I have this controlling a light bar. Most of the time it operates correctly, but sometimes I will tap it to turn off in the app and it shows that it did, but the light is still on. The only fix is to unplug everything and force stop the app in app settings and plug it all in again. It does this often enough to be a problem. Their camera is even worse. Dont use wyze, there are better companies out there.

I’ve purchased a number of these plugs and I love them. The last purchase I ordered a double pack. I used the first one and it was great. I didn’t instal the second one until months later. Unfortunately it doesn’t work and I can return to Amazon.

These might be a little more expensive than some Chinese no-name brand outlets but I trust these to be very well made. I own quite a few Wyze products and they are all well made and a great value! I realize that having lights turn on and off with your voice is truly a non-essential, but we love them because our young kids can easily turn on and off the light now. Plus its easy to turn off all the lights downstairs now when we go to bed. Once you get used to using them youll be hooked! One last thing, I love the Vacation mode that turns the lights on and off randomly when were gone. SO much easier than having to use the old manual timer switches!

I love how I can control this from my app while at work! I leave my tiny dog home alone super early when it’s still dark, and I was sick of paying to leave my lights on all day. This works great so I can shut it off after a little while I’m at work. Alexa works great with it at home too!

Used these to replace a pair of timers on lamps. Good flexibility on scheduling options, and can switch up the timing easily if Im away for a few days

Ive had this companies products for YEARS and they have worked great up until a few weeks back, when their cloud service either got hacked or broke for no reason. Then all my plugs and garage door openers stopped working. I didnt receive any emails or warning that they were going to perform an upgrade to their service, which leads me to believe that something got hacked. When their products work, they are GREAT! The interface and integration with Google Home works well. Ill keep using them, since they still seem to work, just hope the company stays in better communication with stuff next time they need to upgrade their end/software. Also, they dont have the best wifi, so make sure your plugs or garage door controller is pretty close. I have a mesh network on my property and havent had a plug, even with the devices sometimes showing a log signal.
