I had a plug in a remote corner of my home that had a competators WiFi controlled plug. I would lose connectivity. I cant blame the wifi plug, but had very little options to improve the sub-prime location of my wireless router other than costly investment in MESH or other solutions. So, I repurposed that plug to another location and used this product from YoLink. Once I set up the LoRa hub (REQUIRED!) and the plug, it works wonderfully. It was easy and quick to set up and when I went to Alexa I was smiling what I found that the YoLink SKILL actually had a positive rating unlike many others. After this great experience, Ive added 4 of their water sensors, an indoor and outdoor thermometer, and got 2 of the FlexFobs. All accessories were similarly easy to set up to connect to the same HUB and very quick to set up and get into my Alexa routines. Literally 20 seconds to set up using the scan QR code in the App. It took longer to open the boxes! What I have set up (so far) • YoLink Hub • 4x Water Leak Detector • 2x Flex Fob (one wall mounted, one to carry) • Indoor Thermometer/Humidity • Outdoor Thermometer/Humidity Pros: • Easy to set up • Good range (at least better than WiFi) • Integration with Alexa • Extra credit for making use of minimal packaging. • The FlexFob can be used in any Alexa routine not just other YoLink devices (under Smart Home each of the 4 buttons is treated like a motion detector) • The FlexFob even included a wall mounting bracket, which was a pleasant surprise for me! Cons: • Basically none. • If I had to complain about something, I guess the mobile app could use some refinement (You need a few clicks to go into settings to change something as a favorite, etc. which maybe could have alternate way, such as a click and hold)

I am using this product to monitor the temperature in my chicken coop. I really only care about cold temperature to prevent frozen pollo. I was able to set up a cold temperature alert that goes to my phone. There is no history though, in that if you lose WiFi to the device it registers no temperature until your WiFi is back. I thought it would record the temperature at the sensor and update the app when it came back online. It is great for the price. It only updates in hour intervals so if you want to monitor something more often I would suggest another product or possibly another app could poll the sensor more frequently.

Impressed. I tried 4 types of wireless monitors in my commercial freezer and fridge. This one works. It picks up a signal without ethernet or plug/power line needed. Its lightweight and has a display on monitor. Smart app, no monthly subscription and I can pull up on pc using Bluejeans app. It also has other monitors that can be added - power failure, smoke, Motion detectors Love it

Pros: Easy to install, communicates with rest of Yolink integrated system, can provide voice warnings when used with a speaker hub. I purchased two thermometers that I wanted to integrate with the rest of my Yolink water leak detection and shutoff system along with my speaker hub. Installation was a breeze, scan the qr code, push the set button, and you are in. Because I have a Yolink speaker hub I was able to program the thermometers to issue a voice warning when the refrigerator temperature went above 42 deg. F (the high and low temperature limits are programmable). Programming is very easy and intuitive. Without a speaker hub, users will receive an email and notification and, optionally, a text message. Customer service is excellent. Batteries are supposed to last two years or more and the Yolink app shows the battery status of all components. When compared to a calibrated digital thermometer, the Yolink thermometers were well within one degree of accuracy. As a bonus, the thermometer keep a history of temperature and humidity. These thermometers are designed for indoor use. Very pleased with this product.

I have been using home automation products for several years but I never found a good solution to monitor fridge and freezer temps. We have 4 freezers and I have purchased one of the smart wireless temperature sensors for each. I have found these to be reliable and its great that you can set up alerts in the YoLink app to send a message to your mobile device as well as sound an alert on the hub when it goes out of range. It doesnt update continuously more like every couple minutes or degrees of change so it gives you time to put away groceries without driving you crazy but if you accidentally leave a door slightly open it notifies you quick enough that you cant drive too far away when leaving the house before you are notified.

I bought the temp/humidity sensor to replace an older iHome sensor that I didnt have faith in anymore. The Yolink sensor shows similar readings to the iHome sensor, so maybe I didnt need to buy something new, but I had a great experience using Yolinks motion sensor to turn lights on in a bathroom that doesnt have wall switches so I decided to give another one of their devices a shot. Adding the Yolink sensor to the Yolink app is a breeze - you just scan the QR code and youre on your way. It appears to report the temp and humidity every few minutes (I noticed some older reviews mentioning it only updates once per hour) so that is a pleasant surprise. However, I use Alexa for all of my smart home needs, and this sensor only shows temperature in the Alexa app, and half of the display in the app is cut off. Im disappointed that the sensor doesnt send humidity data to Alexa, which means I cant trigger automations inside Alexa for alerts or turning the basement humidifier on and off outside of a set humidity range. There are only 2 data points that the sensor needs to report, and the fact that it only reports one outside of the native app (and the one I didnt really care about) really bums me out. Ill most likely stick this in the deep freezer in my garage and look for another option from another company for automation of the humidifier. I suppose I could get one of Yolinks smart outlets to handle this automation inside Yolinks app, but not being able to have my Alexa speakers produce a notification and not being able to ask Alexa what the basement humidity is leaves me wanting/expecting more.

I have purchased around 15 of these now to monitor various temperatures and I love them. Very accurate, easy to use, and connect with no issue. Yolink has many great products and is a great way to give you piece of mind with home monitoring.

I bought a temperature sensor/alarm just to see if this thing works. Now I have about a dozen devices and they are so easy to install and configure. Ive called support a few times and the support was quick to respond. I have a temperature sensor in a metal building 400 away and it works perfectly. Easy to recommend this product.
