Love having an App on my phone to check my stand up freezer temperature wherever I am at. Took a bit over 10 minutes to set up. Well worth the sense of security knowing that my food is safe

I have been using home automation products for several years but I never found a good solution to monitor fridge and freezer temps. We have 4 freezers and I have purchased one of the smart wireless temperature sensors for each. I have found these to be reliable and its great that you can set up alerts in the YoLink app to send a message to your mobile device as well as sound an alert on the hub when it goes out of range. It doesnt update continuously more like every couple minutes or degrees of change so it gives you time to put away groceries without driving you crazy but if you accidentally leave a door slightly open it notifies you quick enough that you cant drive too far away when leaving the house before you are notified.

This device warned me when our refrigerator/freezer was on the fritz. It was a gradual decline, which I was able to monitor to the apps history feature. Yes, our refrigerator/freezer failed, but the YoLink temperature sensor provided a blow-by-blow description as the temperature rose. And, the device allowed me to monitor the temperature after I had added dry ice, as a stop gap prior to the arrival of the repair person. But, whats particularly impressive, after I put the device in our cooler it was immersed in water and ceased working. Thinking that it was toast, I thought I might revive it by putting it in a container of rice. Alas, five days later, I inserted new batteries, and, low and behold, it came back to life! In the meantime I had order another from Amazon. So, now we have digital temperature gauges in both the freeze and refigerator to alam us to our next problem. This device is super easy to set up and works like a charm!

These temp/humidity sensors took the place of my old Acurite hydrometers/thermometers. They were more accurate and now I have alerting through Yolink. Absolutely no issues with connection or distance. Have one in my gun safe too and the signal is very strong.

Pleased with units thus far, no hiccups or erratic readings. Seem to be accurate but have no way to calibrate so can’t really say for sure. Would buy again if needed.

I stumbled upon YoLink while searching on the internet for separate smart temperature and smart humidity sensors for several automation projects in my home, so I was excited to find they have a temperature/humidity sensor (in a single unit). As an electronics and home automation enthusiast, I have since been adding them all over my home. Here are a couple pictures, and here are some applications Ive tried out or will be implementing in my home: Automating control of exhaust fan in bathroom - turn on fan before the room steams up during a shower/bath Keeping an eye on a fridge on its last leg Monitoring the temp and humidity of a bearded dragon tank. Both are very important. I also have automations to turn the heat lamp on if it gets too cold. My daughter, its her pet, has the app installed and receives notifications of problems with the temp or humidity. I also have a general tank light on a smart plug, on a schedule. I am going to be installing a whole house fan soon, and I want to use these, in most rooms of the house, to slow or turn off the fan, as well as to control ceiling fans in the bedrooms (to turn them down or off as it starts to get too cold at night, with the WHF running all night, otherwise). The ceiling fans are on Lutron Caseta switches, but the Alexa and IFTTT.com integration allows for automations that include multiple brands. Very flexible! I can see additional uses for this, keeping an eye on a wine cellar, a leaky basement (in conjunction with their Water Sensor), an unoccupied property or building or room subject to damage from freezing, extreme heat or humidity (and mold and other resulting issues). Thats a great price, too. Which is good, because I plan to get more of them!

I have 7 of these that I use. All but one seem to function with good accuracy. I have one that seems to be off from other thermometers by almost 5 degrees at times. Overall a good product with pretty good reliability.

Heard a lot of negatives about the refrigerator I just bought freezing food in the fridge compartment when they set the dial to Recommended. I had the same problem and decided to get the temperature sensors from Yolink (I already own a number of their products). After installing it, the manufactures recommended settings was way off. I turned the fridge settings much lower and the freezer higher and after playing with the temperature controls, I got the temperatures to be perfect. Fridge stays between 34 and 38 degrees and the freezer between 0 and 5 degrees according the sensors and app. I even got a text one day when the temperature in the fridge went to 33 degrees since my app was set to notify when it gets below 34. I highly recommend these sensors

This sensor is affordable, easy to set up an has a incredibly long range including excellent wall and freezer door penetration. Customer service is quick and helpful. I have only one issue, which they have said they will fix in an upcoming release, which is that the alarm can not be used in a freezer scenario. As you see in the photo, all freezers are below temp threshold, so they would alarm continuously. They are reducing the lower limit to address this soon. In the future I hope they offer an even lower cost version without the LCD display which is very nice but useless when inside a freezer or other place I can’t see... I look forward to testing their other sensors soon.

Easily monitor temperature when not home, alert if it exceeds limits. Very easy to set up with the app.
