First used to monitor our garage fridge, but stupidly didnt setup the alarm strategy. The fridge failed and we lost tons of food. After the repair, bought 2 more for the house fridge and set them up properly. The house fridge revealed a performance problem that Im working to fix. Its fancy digital settings & display mislead you to expect its controlling properly, but the Yolink temperature graph seems to show otherwise.

I stumbled upon YoLink while searching on the internet for separate smart temperature and smart humidity sensors for several automation projects in my home, so I was excited to find they have a temperature/humidity sensor (in a single unit). As an electronics and home automation enthusiast, I have since been adding them all over my home. Here are a couple pictures, and here are some applications Ive tried out or will be implementing in my home: Automating control of exhaust fan in bathroom - turn on fan before the room steams up during a shower/bath Keeping an eye on a fridge on its last leg Monitoring the temp and humidity of a bearded dragon tank. Both are very important. I also have automations to turn the heat lamp on if it gets too cold. My daughter, its her pet, has the app installed and receives notifications of problems with the temp or humidity. I also have a general tank light on a smart plug, on a schedule. I am going to be installing a whole house fan soon, and I want to use these, in most rooms of the house, to slow or turn off the fan, as well as to control ceiling fans in the bedrooms (to turn them down or off as it starts to get too cold at night, with the WHF running all night, otherwise). The ceiling fans are on Lutron Caseta switches, but the Alexa and IFTTT.com integration allows for automations that include multiple brands. Very flexible! I can see additional uses for this, keeping an eye on a wine cellar, a leaky basement (in conjunction with their Water Sensor), an unoccupied property or building or room subject to damage from freezing, extreme heat or humidity (and mold and other resulting issues). Thats a great price, too. Which is good, because I plan to get more of them!

I already had a Yolink hub, and I added a couple of these to my system to monitor the temperature of my two freezers in the garage. I was skeptical about the signal getting out of a metal box, but it worked fine. In addition to preventing spoilage in the event of a power failure--I had a multi-tap power strip fail not long ago and almost lost a freezer full of food--the temperature monitors revealed that one of my freezers cycles between -2 deg. and -14 deg. I should probably replace that freezer soon since that wide a temperature swing suggests that the thermostat is not working well. I recommend this monitor. I have had good luck with all the Yolink products I have purchased.

This device saved me a lot of grief. I put it in the refrigerator and discovered the temperature was going up into the 40’s overnight. The digital fridge temp always said it was 37, so I wouldn’t have know there was an issue until the fridge conked out. I got the fridge fixed before it was a huge hassle. This device is worth every penny!

Excellent item for warnings on coolers and freezers.

I started out using YoLink water sensors September 2020 (4 sensors w/ hub). Installed them in my finished basement and laundry and didnt really give them much thought until I received my first notification/alert, I was doubtful but immediately went to check and low and behold, I had a slow leak in a slop sink. These sensors saved me from a HUGE headache. I went and bought another 4 pack and have these sensors EVERYWHERE. Now that I have the water issues under control, I have started to work on humidity & temperature in my home with their sensors. Temp & humidity sensors are just as easy and accurate! These are great products and I look forward to what new products will be released next.

I got this to monitor the temperature in a storage shed. I wanted to link it with Alexa and set up a routine to turn on a vent blower at a certain temperature range. Turns out this links with Alexa fine, but only shows the temperature. Thats it. The humidity does not even show in Alexa. You cant even ask Alexa to state the temperature from it, you have to manually look at it. And Alexa will not recognize it to set up a routine like I wanted either for some reason. Well, at least I can monitor the temperature and get a notification from the Yolink app when the temperature gets too high. Keeping it because I might use it elsewhere, but Ill be buying something else to trigger the vent blower.

Temperature device works great. However, I have my existing THERMOSTAT set to reduce the temperature to 71 degrees Fahrenheit ONLY during sleeping time at night. So I would need to have EITHER 2 different TIMES OF THE DAY and TWO different Temperature settings; One for the day time when I dont need that room at 71 degrees Fahrenheit and one for sleeping time at night when I DO keep the bedroom at 71 deg.fah. Currently I have the Alarm setting giving me a warning every hour of the day...annoying unless I manually turn the Alarm OFF during the day an back on again during the night. But that kind of defeats the purpose of automation.

The device seems to work well in its app and is pretty accurate compared to other thermometers. I am having problems with Alexa integration and plan to call tech support later today. It shows up on the Alexa app and Alexa can tell me the temp if I ask. The problem Im having is that its not showing up under Smart home in the Alexa app so I cant setup a routine.

Pleased with units thus far, no hiccups or erratic readings. Seem to be accurate but have no way to calibrate so can’t really say for sure. Would buy again if needed.
