> 3 dayIm usually skeptical with low cost devices, but I was in a situation to see if I needed to buy a new fridge, but wanted to know what was going on with it since it was starting to give me issues. So I purchased the temp/humidity sensor. Let me tell you, this system is awesome! The set-up was amazingly easy, and it was true to its word that it has a long distance connection. I have the fridge on opposite ends of my 2k sq ft home. It goes through walls and sends a signal to the (dedicated, sold separately wifi base) and provides me with notifications on my cell phone as I pre-set the qualifying conditions in which to notify me. Ive been talking to my friends about this unit. Highly recommend it.

> 3 dayFirst used to monitor our garage fridge, but stupidly didnt setup the alarm strategy. The fridge failed and we lost tons of food. After the repair, bought 2 more for the house fridge and set them up properly. The house fridge revealed a performance problem that Im working to fix. Its fancy digital settings & display mislead you to expect its controlling properly, but the Yolink temperature graph seems to show otherwise.

> 3 dayWorked easily out of the box (I already owned the hub). Like many, I am using in a cold environment, my refrigerator. So the notification from the device occurs when the temperature goes DOWN. But in these applications, I am obviously concerned if the temperature goes UP, indicating a malfunction or power outage in my frig. UPDATE: I subsequently figured out that one can custom specify a normal range of temps, and be notified when the temp falls outside the range. Now 5 stars.

> 3 dayPros: Easy to install, communicates with rest of Yolink integrated system, can provide voice warnings when used with a speaker hub. I purchased two thermometers that I wanted to integrate with the rest of my Yolink water leak detection and shutoff system along with my speaker hub. Installation was a breeze, scan the qr code, push the set button, and you are in. Because I have a Yolink speaker hub I was able to program the thermometers to issue a voice warning when the refrigerator temperature went above 42 deg. F (the high and low temperature limits are programmable). Programming is very easy and intuitive. Without a speaker hub, users will receive an email and notification and, optionally, a text message. Customer service is excellent. Batteries are supposed to last two years or more and the Yolink app shows the battery status of all components. When compared to a calibrated digital thermometer, the Yolink thermometers were well within one degree of accuracy. As a bonus, the thermometer keep a history of temperature and humidity. These thermometers are designed for indoor use. Very pleased with this product.

Greater than one weekI did not have high hopes since I am expecting a device to communicate through block walls AND metal shed walls....BUT it is actually picking up a good signal! I am super impressed so far and I will continue to monitor and tinker with it this weekend. This device may have found a new home! Now I wish YoLink would make security cameras! You listening YoLink? Give us cameras! edited to add: This wifi hygrometer is amazing. It only lost signal one time, and thats when some guys installing a new fence for me cut my cable on accident. I was immediately alerted that connection was lost. I left work and pulled up to my house and asked why they cut the cable...they were baffled how I knew. lol I also sent an in app message to the developers and surprisingly received an email back within 12 hours.

> 3 dayI started out using YoLink water sensors September 2020 (4 sensors w/ hub). Installed them in my finished basement and laundry and didnt really give them much thought until I received my first notification/alert, I was doubtful but immediately went to check and low and behold, I had a slow leak in a slop sink. These sensors saved me from a HUGE headache. I went and bought another 4 pack and have these sensors EVERYWHERE. Now that I have the water issues under control, I have started to work on humidity & temperature in my home with their sensors. Temp & humidity sensors are just as easy and accurate! These are great products and I look forward to what new products will be released next.

> 3 dayBought this to monitor the because it had a better range than other options. I needed to monitor the temperature/humidity in a coldfrrame in my garden. It’s down the hill from my house so I wasn’t sure if it would have the range I needed. Just pugged it in and set it in the cold frame. It works great! I think I will buy another for my small greenhouse in the same location!
